Are you trusting Jesus for the cleansing power
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb.

Are you washed in the blood
In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb
Are your garments spotless
Are they white as snow
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb.

First off, I gave you a star for this question!

I am a blood-bought, justified child of the Most High God. He washed every sin of mine and cast them away from me as far as the east is from the west!

Because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for my sins, I will spend an eternity with God and the saints of all ages. It will be glorious; I am looking forward to it expectantly!

You are going to get a LOT of razz for this question....I guarantee you!!!

Blood sports aren't my idea of fun. Too much chance of HIV and other diseases.

My garments are spotless when I wash them.

I don't do lamb's blood either, nor do I like Haggis.

Sorry for sort of poking fun, but while I don't mind discussion, I hate sermons and preaching. I hate proselytizing as well.

So many people with soap-boxes, using any public forum to preach ... I'm actually tired of it.

You know ... I have my own faith, and I don't push it on people. I try to show those who don't want to hear about it a bit of respect. I respect my faith enough to not dirty it by waving it in front of those who don't want to hear.

I also show my own faith enough respect to represent it with proper English. Does your Christ deserve proper English and properly formed sentences? Certainly the Bible translators felt so; that's the reason that the Bible is so well-written.

Good luck in your faith, but maybe you might consider the proper forums to preach and be a witness in front of those looking for one.

Do you think it's strange at all that God would send himself down as a human sacrifice to appease himself?

1) It's strange "God" of the universe would be into animal sacrifice.
2) It's strange he'd then be into human sacrifice
3) It's strange that he would find a need at all to send himself down knowingly to be killed in order to 'save' us.
4) Did the flood not work?

Great hymn...I like this one too:

There is a fountain filled with blood
drawn from Immanuels veins;
and sinners plunged beneath that flood
lose all their guilty stains...

The dying thief rejoiced to see
that fountain in his day;
and there may I, though vile as he,
wash all my sins away.

I never cease to be horrified by that song. Symbolic cannibalism and now allusion to animal sacrifice. Yikes.

The last time i remembered, white washed meant that you are not white but you act white.

I've got better than Jesus. Jesus is a faker who stole his story from the Pagan saviors before him. I've got Odhinn! Way cooler.
