Won't get the 10 but had to answer.
You wanted stories.
I felt God had left me when my father died. He left so many that were not worthy to be here to take my dad. My mistake. He did not leave me, he left me with many a great memory, and a freakin' fantastic step-mother (yep not like the one in Cinderella). Yes I miss my dad, but I hear terrible stories of people that could care less about their parents, so He never left me...He just left me with the realization that I had a great father. Don't know if that is the answer you want...see a lot of thumbs down and don't care. As far as when He will return...if you wish to ask it that way then...He returns every time you ask, every time you need, and every time you realize you need to appreciate what you have. Check my answers, I am a very liberal and free thinking person...(just a small, eeensy note...next time, as His name is a noun, please capitalize it). Here come the thumbs down....again....don't care.

If by "God" you mean Jesus, He left in the event known as the Ascension into Heaven. The Bible teaches that the hour of His return is not known by man, and that the act of trying to predict it is blaspemous to the Scriptures.
Spiritually speaking, while Jesus may no longer be with is in the flesh, He is still with us in the Spirit.

You're confusing God with an energy form.
Creation is God expressing Himself.
Creation forms when energy explodes and
interfaces with invisible forces we know as
Laws Of Physics.
Time and space are merely by-products
of this reaction.
The energy is not the forces.
The forces are not an energy form, however,
they are always at work.

God has never left us, he is always with us, so he doesn't have to return, he's already here.

He came peacefully the first time and we tortured and killed Him. He will be back soon and He will have a sword next time.
