Who said God was concerned with peoples sexuality? Where are the legitimate documents stating this? Does God say it's a sin him/herself? [I must be a woman. I'm answering a question with more questions.] I really don't get the whole sexuality thing myself. As long as someone is true to themselves and others, treating them with respect, love and UNDERSTANDING, "where's the beef?".

In the Beatles own words, "Yeah, yeah, yeah..."

Yes, the human species was designed to procreate through opposite sexes but seeing as we've already overpopulated the planet ... maybe it's time to take sex and procreation out of the equation and focus on 'being human".

(I'd love to be a smart horse/donkey and sign this "God" but I think we've all lost our sense of ha-ha and I really don't want to cause any more conflict than is necessary. My vision of God seems to be so very different from what Western or Eastern Spirituality conceives it to be. I must be cursed.

I belong to no religious sect. I am not atheist either. Ooooo ... not agnostic either. Including outright idiotic, you take the pick.

See you ... you know where.
(Is it hot in here or is it just another hot flash?"

If I hear the dreaded "Adam & Steve" comment one more time I will spontaneously vomit. Then again, the "because the Bible says so" statement makes me want to bang my head against a wall over and over and over again.

It's a catch-22 no matter how you look at it.

According to many Christians, God always agrees with their hatred - he just doesn't like to call it "hatred". Thus the term 'sin'. I can see where murder and rape are sins - although the Bible seems quite fond of both . I can NOT see how two consenting adults falling in love is one, and I never will. The entire idea is a travesty. How dare people claim they deserves more liberties because they are heterosexual? It's the same kind of concept that brought us slavery. It is also unconstitutional, ignorant, and downright disgusting.

I've been waiting for a question like this. Thanks!

It is my belief that God is not as concerned about people's sexuality as some people here on earth that feel it is their place to pass judgment instead of leaving that in the capable hands of the Lord.

The real sin is to sit in judgment when it isn't your concern. I wouldn't think of telling anyone I know who they should love, and how they should make love. It's more of a sin in my book to stand up and tell someone that they don't have a right to be happy, to love, to live as they were designed to.

I've encountered many more of my follow heterosexual couples whose sexual practices and the way they treat one-another in their relationship would give me the willies, than those of my gay friends.

Just my opinion. Everyone is entitled.

There isn't a real reason in the bible, it just says it's wrong, it's doesn't give a real reason as to why it's wrong. There's just little words on paper that say it's bad...kind of stupid if you ask me because I know 3 or 4 homosexuals and a couple of them don't even want to be, but they can't help it. You can't pick what you are attracted to, you just are. Oh and they can't make more religious babies.

If this God does exsist, it appears he doesn't love all of his children.

Good question. I think it's beyond arrogant to not only think one speaks on direct behalf of the creator of the universe (assuming one exists of course), and would further more think such a being cares about what one particular species on one particular planet from one particular solar system in the milky way galaxy might be hiding their salami on the weekends. Wouldn't he have more important things to attend to?

The Bible was NOT created by God, but by man. Remember it has also been manipulated in so many ways. And do you really think God is disgusted by more love in the world?

Think about it:

Do you think God will judge me for loving, or some one else for hating?

well the way i see it god teaches us to be accepting, unfortunetly over the years the catholic church has completely butcherd the bible to say what they want it to say instead of what it was meant to say, now i am a religous person and id o plan on reading the bible front to back one day or another, but that doesnt mean i have to take in every word, i know my beliefs, and i dont have to change them because some ahole in the church many many years ago decided it was bad to be gay, im not gay, i think its disgusting, but i still accept them as regular people

well I think i speak on behalf of God when i say no impure being will get into heaven and yes it is possible to be Perfect. in the bible it says that you shouldn't lay with mankind as you do with womankind and that it is an abomination. i think that it is an abomination because it is a sin against your own body fornication is a sin against your own body. why do you think so many gays have HIV/AIDS? i also think that if you can't controll your lusts over people of the same sex you should practice celibacy and get counseling hanging out with other gays won't help. one of God's comands/blessings was to be fruitful and multiply. Surely, 2 people of the same sex cannot be fruitful and multiply, no matter how in love they are.

God is not concerned with sexuality, other than he created it. God is love. That said, true love is neither unholy nor condemned.

Those who teach hate, or who hate, or condemn do not know forgiveness and love. They are the farthest from God.
