I'm looking for some advice on how to deal with wealthy people in a classy mean way. My new job requires that I deal with them on a daily basis and they don't like it when you are friendly and smile a lot.

I'm in this club for school, and we have a Bonding Day every summer.
The Bonding Day was scheduled for next week.
We elected new officers for next year, but

they are extremely gave us a week notice, but the new ones haven't.
I don't know any of them either, but I have their numbers.

Should I call them and ask them if they started planning
the Bonding Day yet?

I know we go out to eat as part of socializing, but no one wants to see the partially chewed food in you mouth and we don't like having you food on us.

So while you have food in your mouth...

SHUT UP ALREADY!!!

If what you have to say is that important it can wait 10 seconds till you swallow the food.

I'm so sick of everyone peeing on the toilet seat and not wiping it off. That's why it's so gross to sit on toilet seats. If we would all just sit on them, there would be no need to worry.

Here's the situation: a person representing a vending machine company comes to fill a vending machine, located inside another business. There's some spilled stuff around the vending machine, so the person uses the business' kitchen sponge and soap to clean up the mess. Should the person have asked first? Should the person apologize?

You know, I'm a pretty easygoing person. But we have a secretary at work who sits a few feet away from me and she eats constantly throughout the day. She happens to be a gym rat but she eats carrots, celery and chips like 5 or 6 times a day and it's really getting on my nerves because you can hear the crunching and the biting constantly. She'll also get an apple and when she bites into it I just cringe.......I actually go outside for a break each time I see her bring her little bag of carrots by her desk just so I won't hear the crunching and chewing. I can deal with something like this easily if it only happened once or twice during the day but it's really ridiculous now. I'm getting to the point now of hoping she bites her tongue in half while she's chewing. LOL. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

It has come to my attention that Donald Trump has hired a band of mercenaries to steal my refrigerator. Without a steady supply of twinkies, pork rinds, and bar-b-q ribs I will be forced to consume the only remaining food source in the house:

The children.

Please don't let this happen. I guess what I'm saying is...if you have any unwanted pets or (perhaps neihbor's pets) and a couple gallons of K.C. Masterpiece (preferably Mesquite flavored), I won't have to resort to grilling family members.

Thank you for your help,

Rosie

Everytime my brother thinks something is funny, he says "LOL" instead of just laughing. And he isnt even on the computer. I hate it. I just want to kill him everytime he does it.

My friends were not talking about the wierdo at the school yard. That was clear. They meant the guy who just thought, wow, and decided to show them he thought so. i personally would be pissed if someone did that to my wife, but my friends poinded out, "if the guy is risking public humiliation and embarrassment as well as police to problems" just to let me know how much he thinks of me, instead of the fifteen other guys that saw us and are waiting to get back to the office washroom or home tonight. Well, maybe it is a compliment. I can see her point. Don't agree with it but I can see it.

My coworker hurts my feelings everyday because she doesn't seem to like me. I'm not sure why she doesn't like me. She doesn't say hello when I walk into the room and say hello to her, she talks to everyone when they come into work, she spends time outside of work with everyone else in my department (and will invite them out right in front of me), and if I try to talk to her she gives me the shortest responses possible. It really hurts my feelings. Then, to make it worse, she expects me to listen to all of her stories and comment on them if no one else is at work...even though she basically ignores mine. I don't want to be rude to her just because she's been rude to me, but I don't know how to deal with it...?

I have been working at Wal-Mart as a cart pusher for 1 1/2 years and it really sucks. It's either too hot or too cold, scheduling does not work for my college classes and it is the worst job in America. We get paid the lowest salary and they don't care about us or my college schedule. There is NOT one damn thing delightful about this job. I was awarded Cart-Pusher of the Year and a $25 bonus added to my check, but I am calling this a "Mercy Gift." I am transferring to a larger college this fall and I don't care if they don't like my new college schedule. What am I to do?

Lighthearted.

For me, I had ordered 4 dozen rolls for a bridal shower from a supermarket to be ready. I went to pick them up, and the clerk just said, "they aren't here" and walked away.

I was at the home of a family friend..and I'm always one to help with setting the table, cooking, serving, etc. So I went to set the table and the host freaked out because she said I did it all wrong. Is it wrong to place the knife closest to the plate and fork on the outside of the knife on top of a napkin on the right side of the plate? If this is wrong, what is the right way to set a table?

I have a co-worker who sits directly in front of me with a divider wall between us. All day he constantly drums a beat with his mouse (if you are not sure what I mean, pick up your mouse and slam it back on your desk over and over quickly to the beat of your favorite song). He does this ALL THE TIME!!! I have made a few joking comments such as, "Can I get a drum set too?" or giving the desk a kick, thinking he would get the hint. I am sure that this is an illness of his - any suggestions?

Hi

I'm booked on a holiday to Ibiza with a crowd of friends, including the ex-boyfriend, who hurt me a lot.

I changed my accommodation plans to stay with the majority of the group at the villa, whilst the ex stays in an apartment with a couple of other friends.

I'm really torn in what to do. If I go, it's going to drain me financially, and it'll be very awkward to put on a face of niceness to someone who was a complete control freak and treated me badly. However, if I do go, I get to spend the holiday of a lifetime with my friends. I went last year and had an amazing time.

Should I not go, save the money, put it towards my travelling funds for next year, save myself any potential heartbreak and not end up in a mess recovering afterwards.

OR, do I throw caution to the wind, have a great time with my friends and not be regretting missing a holiday with 30 of my mates?

I can't decide.
