Why is it that everywhere i call i get Indians answering the phone?
Im not racist so don't give me that please but it's the fact that i don't understand them and they don't understand me. I find myself repeating myslef to them numerous times and them the same to me.
It is so frustrating.
Taxi's, restaurants, take aways etc all have indians answering the calls.
My bank even has and indian call center.

Dining out with others, I'm constantly amazed at how little they eat. Their plate of food arrives at the table, some pick a little at it, have a forkful or two then act like they're going to explode. I've even seen some just stare at it a few minutes, then push it away like it was a plate of cockroaches. I dive right in it, lick the plate clean, then order dessert (like my parents taught me). My dining companions just sigh and look at me like I'm a freak. So why is food regarded as "poison" and why bother ordering if you're not going to eat it. It really bothers me to see wasted food.

I have been invited to stay with a French family in Brittany. They have done me a great favour, and I feel that after that, and after staying with them for a short while, I should at least offer them some sort of gift - maybe something to thier kids. What should I do / give that wouldn't embarrass them, but be suitable at the same time?

Some people could consider me "quiet" or "shy", but that's just me. I'm a natural introvert, and I know who I am. Some people don't understand me at times, and will point out that "I don't talk a lot" or say "You are so shy!" I absolutely hate that. I never know how to respond. What should I do?

I think that being "politically correct" is a load of bull. We have to say things carefully so that we won't hurt other...how dense can people be? I mean, I've had people call me "decorated" instead of pierced! I sure wouldn't mind being called what I am, should anyone?

What do you guys think, for or against?

Okay I used to drive with a driving instructor but he is too busy so now my mom switched me to another. I only need a few lessons and I will be ready to get my license! But the new guy I am driving with makes me uncomfortable... while I am driving he is always talking meanly (not to me about other people)... he is teaching me new stuff that clashes with what the first guy taught me (and the other guy was the one who was teaching me the right way)... he also doesn't watch me when I am driving and doesn't tell me any mistakes I make. But the one thing that really bothers me is he keeps touching my thigh and stuff. I know it probably isn't a big deal but I am more sensitive with things like that because I was abused once (like sexually...) and it makes me uncomfortable. Am I just overreacting to this? I mean I don't think I am... what do you guys think? It makes me uncomfortable while I'm driving and I wanted to hear everyone's opinion.

Thanks 4 your help! =)

I ordered an organic cotton tee shirt with a picture of a Pit Bull on it and the caption "Pit Bull Soul" from the website www.Cafepress.com. They have a bunch of customized shirts there and what not, but anyways I ordered a Men's small on Sunday. I payed 5 bucks for standard 2-5 day shipping. I live outside of NYC so it didnt take too long to receive. Got the tee today (Thursday). When I put it on I realized that it was just too tight. The sleeves were generally small and the neck are was kinda tight. I'm 15 so plus I'm still growing and it would probably shrink in the wash. So anyways I emailed customer support right away because I know they have a money back guarantee for 30 days. I just wanted to exchange it for a Men's medium, so I asked how I should send the package back. They responded only 4 hours later telling me they had just immediately placed a brand new order in the size I wanted. They said they didnt want me to have to pay for shipping again, and to keep both shirts.

I'm a Lic. Massage Therapist. A f riend just called me (also an LMT) & asked this question: What should I say to my long time client who offered to buy my lunch after a massage?
We've all had to deal with a pervert or two. That one's easy. You say "Get dressed, get out and DO NOT come back."
But if it's an innocent offer like this and you don't like to cross the professional line into personal, then what? You don't want to treat it like they hit on you or just 'asked you out' so what's the best way to say no without making them feel uncomfortable or as if they did something wrong?

I'm an aussie girl with a polish background. When i go to an aussie's house, they never offer food and drink, when you're on a date with an aussie guy they never pour your drink or do anything polite or curteous? Is this just an aussie thing? perhaps it's because i am raised with more etiquette? I've lived in oz my whole life so i know it's true, am i too demanding?

Recently I have been showing up late to work, only because I exercise first thing in the morning. My justification to my employers is simply, "Hey, I won't get sick; I keep myself healthy; so therefore I keep your health insurance costs low." The crybabies in the office just don't get it. They are obese lazy slobs who type away all day at their precious data entry jobs.

Anyway, one of these pigs happens to disagreed with me and called me quirky; I was so offended I immediately contacted HR and told them I am sick of people being insensitive to my lifestyle. I asked him to apologize, he then laughed, so I spit in his eye. I don't know what the big deal is, I have no germs since I'm healthy, so its not like he's going to catch a cold from me.

My question is, my boss has asked me to spend the next few days at home thinking about it. Should I resist this? Because I have a big client meeting coming up. But I also just hit lvl 60 on my gnome warlock, I could use time off get to 70.

Over here, we have people who love to lean their whoel body on the pole even when its crowded, so others have difficulty having a pole to grab on to.

And we also have people who do not give up their seats to preganant ladies or elderly folks, especially those in shirt and pants and executive wear.

And people who do not move to the centre of the train, but like to stand at the door.

I was watching them today at WalMart and I was astounded at how many of them lick their fingers to get a better grasp on the plastic bag to open them. For some reason, I just found this quite distrubing. Is this just me, or does anyone else feel this is just not quite healthy?

I'm 23, almost 24, & when a teenager is talking about me, he/she might say, "That lil' girl over there...". I wonder if I'm gonna be called, "Lil' girl" when I'm 65 yrs. old. Is it because I look young & people say I have a baby face? Is it because I'm mentally handicapped? What is it? & they KNOW I'm 23! & they don't respect me & they treat me like I'm their equal. Like, I'm 23, & a 14 yr. old would refer to me as, "Lil' girl", saying, "Lil' girl, you're crazy & need help!"

Do smokers think their waste smoke should somehow be tolerated by the people around them - yet they would not spit on them? Isn't cigarette smoke just another bodily waste like farting and spitting?

Can't the addicted smokers do their smoking in their own homes?

My husband and I both have jobs that require us to work a lot from home. All of the neighbors have children, between like 6 and 14, and all they do is scream all day. They stand on the front lawns and scream, they scream in their pools; they scream just to scream--there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. Sometimes I think someone is hurting one of them and I have to get up and run to the door, but it's always just screaming. I don't really know my neighbors, so what should I do about this? I am glad they're outside playing instead of watching TV or playing video games all summer....But c'mon! This is like 12 hours a day of non-stop yelling and making noise.

I have tried closing the window. That doesn't work. I still hear them.

My co-worker was complaining that there was a lot of garbage in her trash can. She asked me how come my trash can is not even halfway full. She even accused me of moving my trash to her can. I told her, "My trash is empty because I'm efficient." She said, "So what are you trying to say -- that I'm not efficient?" What am I supposed to say back?
