I still smoke. You're generalizing! Not everyone feels that SMOKING IS NOW OUT..

Ashtrays can be used as votive or small scented candle holders. Now, the reformed and recovered smokers can turn their lives, and smelly homes, around by lighting candles to freshen the air.

Use them as coasters! My aunts and uncles who used to smoke have these great glass ashtrays (w/o the little ridges in the middle). Perfect size for a tumbler full of your fave beverage. :-)

there made of sand and my sister my dad smoke my mom doesent 90% of my family smokes i think your generalizing a bit much rofl and why are you worried about recycling ashtrays? how do you recycle old toenail clippings YOU DONT THROW THEM IN THE TRASH DO YOU!?!?! lmfao what a hippie

add them to the 40 million discarded bottled water bottles that are added to our landfills EVERY DAY because people are too heath conscious to drink tap waer.

I use mine to hold joints now instead. i can also put them over my ears (the artsy ceramic ones) and hear the ocean. I guess you could feed cats out of them, measure rainfall, etc.

use as pots and plant something, like a a baby cactus or something, or filll them up with pot-pourri or if they are from glass recycle them.
