I'm an aussie girl with a polish background. When i go to an aussie's house, they never offer food and drink, when you're on a date with an aussie guy they never pour your drink or do anything polite or curteous? Is this just an aussie thing? perhaps it's because i am raised with more etiquette? I've lived in oz my whole life so i know it's true, am i too demanding?

why should men pour drinks for women? Is it because women are weak and helpless and can't do it themselves? Maybe Aussie men are just more conscious of feminism and treat women equally.

And this is limited to Australia how? Ive been around the world twice and seen the same thing everywhere Ive been. Granted being "polite" in australia got me a great deal farther with the ladies than anywhere else...............

This is not to say all Aussies are like that. But I do agree with you. Many Aussies are not very polite. Once you are not of their kind, they snub you.

It't not that they don't have manners. It's just probably not part of their society. To them, that's probably not something they consider manners. Who knows, maybe they think that you are rude.
