Everytime my brother thinks something is funny, he says "LOL" instead of just laughing. And he isnt even on the computer. I hate it. I just want to kill him everytime he does it.

Oh, he knows it annoy's me and he thinks I am blowing it out of proportion. Thats why he keeps doing it.

My brother is like 6'2- 190 pounds. I seriously doubt my 5'6- nonya on the pounds, can do all that bodily harm to him without doing damage to myself. Thanks for the suggestion.

yes that would definitly annoy me!! my little sister used to talk like that in normal conversation allllllllllll the time..she would say LOL, OMG, WTF and all that stuff thats fine when ur texting or IMing but should NEVER be uttered in actual conversation. everytime she would leave the room she would say BRB and i would reply with DIE (saying each letter not the word die) and that got my point across. haha

okay i got that out of the way, and to answer your question, heck yea i would be annoyed! It's just weird, and i'd be like LAUGH already, if it's funny just LAUGH! Maybe he spends to much time on the comp. And if he is just saying LOL and not laughing, then it can be that funny, b/c if something was so funny you wouldn't be able to be saying a computer term instead of balling like i just did! ; )

Ok....I'll admit it....my friends and I goof around sometimes and say WTF, so I know why he might think that he's being so funny. However, the fact is not that LOL is so funny to him, but the way you react is. Just don't let him know he's getting a rise out of you, act like you don't even notice that he said it. Start saying it in your conversations to him. Pretty soon it will get old and he'll quit.

lol omgsh u have no idea. my little brother does the same thing. wen somethings not even funny he yell's out "lol" or "omg" and wen he swears to people the says all the letters at the start of the slang like "fumf" meaning **** u mother ******..! i know it's stupid...! i know what ur going threw! trust me :(

it is annoying, but hold ur temper and b calm and pretend like u dont hear him, that way he'll realize its not funny and you dont care. Im sure he'll stop, and think of something else to bother heheh

sounds about as annoying as "snap"gawd that was the most annoying phrase, slag, whatever. Ignore it or in a total valley girl voice say. IKR "I know right?" good luck though :)

When he says it - just ignore him and walk away once you do that he will realize that the annoying has petered out.
