I can't figure out why in the world people would make themselves look so ugly unless they are goth.

Ugly people, this is your chance to be beautiful!

do you itch, or do you ignore the problem as to not make a scene in the office?

Today I was pumping gas in my car and this guy walked up to me with a gas can asking if he could get a few gallon of gas from me. I am not usually rude to people, but I said to him, "Why do ask me for $7.00 f*cking dollars instead, because that is essentially what you just asked me."

Apparentely he still thinks gas is $1.00 per gallon or something.

Maybe I over reacted, but I was insulted by his nerve.

I live in Houston (713). I have friends who live in the suburbs of "Greater Houston" - Cypress, Sugarland, Katy, Friendswood, Pearland, The Woodlands, etc. I prefer for them to come to Houston to party/hangout. I am 20 minutes from downtown, 30 minutes from the galleria, 20 minutes from Upper Kirby, 20 minutes from Montrose... In short (distance-wise too), I am near every where I want/need to go. I have traveled to their areas for events like baby showers and the occasional party. But, other than that I just prefer that they come to into Houston to hang out. It was their choice to move way out there anyway and I am near everything. Am I a b*tch for thinking they should drive into Houston to hang out most of the time?

Have you experienced any (or all) of these instances:
01- you hold the door open for someone whose talking on their cell phone and they go right through without thanking you still jabbering on

02- as a cashier (or standing behind), a customer is on his or her cell phone and talking the whole time as their transaction is being done

03- driving behind somebody who is on the phone and going 2mph (or vice versa, speeding while on their cell phone and being an accident risk)

If you are at a store and checking out, why would you start talking on you cell when in the middle of talking to a clerk who is helping you. People in line behind you now have to wait for your personal conversation and for the transaction to be done. Also, if you are talking to someone and your cell rings, why is it absolutely necessary to be rude to who you are talking to to talk on the phone? Please let me know I'm not CRAZY

I usually do but find many of them (especially the women) not to be so friendly........I live in a new development and am single dude no kids and most are married with small kids. They act like I am some psycho or something. The men usually act ok but the women are jerks most the time. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT? should I stop saying hello...I feel like it.

Next door neighbor just invited us to his retirement party. I think he did it to be polite because of cars parked in front of our house, noise keeping our kids up, etc. We don't know him very well.. don't even know his last name. Anyway, do you think he actually wants us to show up? And do we bring something? (If so, any ideas?) We are in our 20s and have never been to a retirement party before. Thank you!!

I am throwing a baby shower for a friend. She already has plenty of baby items and only wants to receive gift cards at the shower. What is the best way to add this to an invitation?

You know when you are driving and you have 2 lanes that merge into one. Its one car from the right lane and one car from the left lane and so on and so on, why is that so hard?

months!

Employee that unscrews bolts in table at work -

How disgruntled is an employee that unscrews the bolts in the table of the conference room?

Our conference table collapsed on us during a meeting. Luckily no one was really injured although one woman had it land on her knee.

It was a calculated act as the table grew more and more wobbly with each meeting until it finally collapsed - now they use the "good" half for meetings!

We have suspicision that one of our very passive aggressive employees did this, but have no proof.

Seriously, if you're that unhappy, wouldn't you just quit?

Does anyone have any other examples of disgruntled employees in the workplace?

Thanks in advance!

I know its nice to get a tip, and I use the change as a test. anytime we order pizza, or chinese or anything, I give them exactly 20 CENTS more then the bill, right when they ask for the money. If that take it (which almost everyone does) thats all they get. If they wait, count it out, and give back the change, they get a 5-10$ tip, depending on time, heat of pizza, and attidude of course. >.>

But whats with that, why dont you count the money you are handing and give back the change?
You didnt earn a tip for driving o my house and handing me a pizza, thats your JOB, you dont get a tip for sending a file to your boss if thats your job, right?

So I dont get it, why do some delivery people take a tip out on thier own? It's rude, technically its illegal because it's thieft, and it just plan irks me, so I had to waste the 5 points >.>.

Here is the problem. A certain person says that she appreciates all that my husband and myself has done for her and she would like for us to come over for dinner. She lives in the projects and that is not the problem. The problem is that she has critters. Roaches to be exact. I am terrified of bugs. The last time that we went over there, my nerves were tore to shreds. My husband likes to play too much and he watches too much comic view. He touched me on my neck and I almost beat myself to death because I thought one was on me. I opted to go out for dinner or have it at our house and she refused. I tried to ignore it the last time, but because I am afraid of them, I cannot help but see them. I cannot refuse because it makes it look like we are stuck up. She and her kids have had dinner at our home numerous times. Sounds bad, but I do not want to eat anything from there. I do not want to accidentally carry one home with me either. What do I do?
