I can't figure out why in the world people would make themselves look so ugly unless they are goth.

I don't know...I just tried to make my avatar look as much like I do as possible...

Maybe! But in my case, I'm the same color as my Avatar, with the same eyes and facial features and my hair is red and wavy. Therefore I tried to pick an Avatar that was as close to my appearance as possible.

LOL!!! I was thinking the same thing the other day.
I would have to say 50/50......my avatar is in no way pretty, in fact I want a disclaimer on there.

I aint seen any ugly avatars. someone asked the question before regarding the heavyset people, but you are only given so many choices...given my choices i personally went with what i had to work with.

I can generally pick out the crazy old ladies by their rainbow and puppies avatars. Goths are pretty hot, so I'd have to disagree on that one.

This is a close to me as i could get. My husband tells me I am beautiful and I like how I look, so I am good, no complaints here.

I think people choose what they like, it might not have too much to do with what they actually look like. "Ugly" is matter of opinion anyway.

i tried to make my avatar look like me, well except i don't have red hair, but I'd love to!! so yeah, i guess its true.
