If the table got progressively more wobbly with every meeting, why didn't management take the initiative to either grab a screwdriver or call maintenance and have the table fixed instead of blaming it on some worker-bee employee??

Passive aggressive people do not admit defeat easily. My question is why maintenance wasn't called to do something about the wobbly table before it collasped? Maybe this should be a wake up call to those who stand by and do nothing while sitting at a desk that is wobbling to the extent of falling down. Sounds to me he is tired of working with a bunch of people who do nothing in the workplace.

This act endangers workers' safety and a camera should be set up unknownst to most workers to catch the culprit. This person is disturbed and not passive aggressive, but calculating in wanting the company to be sued and lose money and maybe, make headlines a a negative way.
I personally know someone who, in the middle of the night, would go to a poublic phone booth at around 2 AM and call his boss and scream obscenities at him in a high pitched voice meant to disguise him. This person thinks he only has depression, but this and other similar acts he has told me about means he has a lot more going on than depression. He is a danger to society and should be incarcerated.
I know someone else who, as a teacher, would use a school window poll in the old school building to hide behind a stall and pole at an assistnat principal as he was urinating, making the urine dump on the APs' pants.
These types of actions are very sick....whats more. these people do not want to leave, but get some sort of sick revenge.. Meanwhile, they feel entitled to act out their vengence.
There are courts and the police to file charges with, but they chose to be chicken and low self-esteemed. Yes: They are weak individuals who wouldn't dare go to the police or the papers. They want personal vengence as an act of defiance.
They should be avoided at all costs, period, or found out legally and fired and prosecuted.

How stupid does everyone have to be to KNOW the table was getting wobbly and not check the bolts?
Sounds like he's just trying to "cull the herd".

That's hilarious!
I have to disagree with Chris, because ONE bolt may have slowly slipped out, but not all of them!
Seriously, why didn't anyone tighten the bolts when it started to wobble?

Sounds like the people who are to blame are the ones who knew it was getting unstable, yet didn't correct the problem before it failed. More than likely the screw just backed out and you are on a witch hunt.

He doesn't quit because he wants revenge. He'll probably go postal someday.

I think that is hillarious!!! Good for him, hopefully next time it lands on more co workers.
What I do, when someone STUPID and ANOYING walks into the office with questions I put on my head phones and tell them " I'm not here, please leave a message"
