If you drop any mains powered appliance into your bath whilst you are in it then you will be electocuted. The bath tub itself is earthed, as are the pipes feeding it, and the water will also carry current.
It would be a very silly thing to do.
If your knife is not plugged in then you may well get a very different kind of shock by dropping it into your bath. soggy black pudding would then hardly be high on your list of priorities.
Don't try to cut up soggy black pudding. Put it on the radiator until it's dry then use your bacon slicer or food mixer - but not in the bathroom.
If you can't wait until it's dry then mince it and mix with eggs. You can then scramble them all up in a saucepan and serve on toast. The soapy water will boil off in the pan if you're lucky.

No you will not get a shock because you will be dead!
Why bother to cut the black pudding. Do what I do when i'm eating black pudding in the bath, just grab hold of the thing and eat it whole!

You could try drinking a litre of brandy; taking a box of paracetemol; then putting on a blind fold. Switch the lights off, and go for it.
At least that way you stand SOME chance of surviving....

A shock??? You'll be lucky if that is all you get (is your life insurance paid to date?)
How about using a regular knife?
