So, you were pumping self serve, and some guy wanted to fill up his can on your bill? I probably would have just said no, but it was nervy of him to ask that.

With gas prices today, you had every right to be rude to him. That guy had nerve. I would've probably said something rude too (which I don't normally do) if someone randomly asked me for a few gallons of gas. I don't think everyone clearly understands your question, he asked for gas not money in the first place. Any how, I don't think you over-reacted all that much. I feel you, people really have nerve when it comes to certain things. That was absolutey ridiculous. How in the hell do you go up to someone and just ask for gas? ha ha Stupid.....

some mother with her screaming child was in Target. I was there for about an hour and the child was already screaming when I entered the store and got a cart. After 25 minutes of the screaming I happen to see the manager and asked if he could do something about the screaming since I was across the store from the kid and could clearly hear him screaming for a toy. He told me that he couldn't do anything, and I responded if you don't I'll call the police and have them come in. He did end up going to the women who was totally ignoring her screaming child and asked her if she wouldn't mind coming back later when the child was better behaved.
They left and I continued my shopping.
I think more ppl should do this in stores, it's mean, but everyone should not have to live with a screaming child in a store just because the parent is able to ignore it.

I don't normally do rude things to insult people.. probably it would be not letting someone into traffic.. but when there are signs for miles that say the lane is ending soon I really find it irritating when some idiot pulls out and thinks he (or she) is gonna pass everyone and get in the front of the line.

Well,if he'd asked for money,I'd have assumed he was gonna buy booze or drugs. Least it was gas, perhaps he ran out and was stranded somewhere. Don't think he was trying to be rude....I was in McD's.and walked to the counter where there was one person in front of me. The two girls were behind the counter chatting about why this girl broke up with this guy and blahblahblah. The man in front of me,didn't say a word, just waited for them to take his order, which took awhile. So,they finally took his order, when I got up there,I said,"Are you two sure you're finished, because I wouldn't want to interrupt YOU talking to one another." The man turned around at me and grinned, the girls got the point, lol, enough said

I was at the movies the other night watching 28 Weeks Later a rated R film. Of course some adult who didn't care to find a babysitter brought her 2 children. They did not wish to sit with their parent and moved down in front of me. They then proceeded to start hitting each other. I waited for several minutes assuming that their parent would come down and tell them to stop this This did not occur, after allowing them 1 more opportunity to cease themselves I stuck my head over their seats and said quite loudly and I quote "Knock it the f**k off you little a$$holes!" to which I was greeted with resounding applause from the audience and felt like a star. They stopped and after a moment got up and disppeared from my view. I enjoyed the remainder of the film..

he was probably a dopehead and knew exactly how much he intended on conning you for. If a person runs out of gas and doesnt have anyone in life to help them then thats a sign of someone who doesnt deserve the money. I bet you will see this guy again if you keep going to that gas station carrying that same gas can with his same line,

Did you ask him why he needed it. He could have been desperate or he may have wanted the gas to burn the station down. You might could have received a great blessing if you had filled his can up. Just never know who or what that person is that walks up needing help. Pops

You were very lenient with that bum!
If you see him again, invite him for dinner. Maybe that way he gets the message, that pyromaniac fool.
