I never tip the person whom cuts my hair. Its never the same person anyways. They can never cut my hair right. *i have curly hair*. I go home and its crooked. I haven't had my hair cut, nor trimmed in at least 8 months because of this.

anyways, is there anything wrong with not tipping? If i found one that i actually like, and went to on a regular basis, then i'd reconsider, but if its just someone who does a crappy job, that can't cut my hair straight....do it?

You know, like Marie does on Everybody Loves Raymond. It usually pisses Debra off, because Debra thinks she (Marie) is taking a shot at her (Debra's) cooking ability---which she is.

But would any of the rest of you get irritated at this?

I OWN A AIRBRUSHING CO.WITH MY DAUGHTER AND WE MAKE HOUSE CALLS,WE GOT A CALL FROM 4 ARABIC GUYS WANTING US TO PAINT SOME CARTOON CREATIONS ON THEIR ICE CREAM TRUCKS,WELL WE GAVE THEM A GREAT PRICE AND WENT OVER EARLY THIS MORNING AND STARTED ON THE FIRST ONE,THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY ALL STOOD AROUND WATCHING US WORK "ALL" DAY AND NEVER GAVE US BREATHING ROOM, BUT THE MAIN PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY SPOKE ENGLISH VERY WELL FROM THE TIME WE TOOK THE ORDER AND GOT OVER THERE AND THEN THEY STARTED TO SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE AS THEY WERE WATCHING US! IS THIS RUDE OR AM I JUST PARANOID CAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE SAYING? SHOULD I ASK THE OTHER 3 NOT TO DO THAT WHEN WE COME BACK TO DO THEIR TRUCKS? HELP ME PLEASE!

I've got a professional colleague with whom I work quite closely. She's prone to driving me a little nuts but I tolerated it out of a sense of loyalty and a sincere belief in her potential as a person and as a friend. I went through a difficult illness in the second half of last year and it became clear that she was not someone I could depend on. She's not a bad person. Rather, just in a pretty self-centered place in her life right now. I now have other obligations and don't have the energy for it. Also, it's clear that her and her friendship aren't really worth investing in. I just assume allow this friendship fade but she continues to assume friendship privileges, e.g. she assumes that I share private matters w/her and gives unsolicited advice. I tend to be a friendly and patient person and am happy to oblige by helping her out from time to time (as I would anyone). She "expects" people to help her so I don't think I'm encouraging her. Any thoughts?

My name is Kristin and I saw my Indian friend Sanjay at Miamis Haulover clothing optional beach. We both are 18, seniors in high school. We both live in Miami Beach but I usually go there by myself and tan in my bikini. I have never seen anyone from high school there. I was walking to find a spot on the beach to tan and I saw Sanjay there totally naked lying on his back. I couldnt help take a picture with my cell phone camera. He was lying there and he was like a 1/2 inch. It looked like a little mushroom. It looked so funny. He looked so cute, I had to take a picture.I feel like showing it to my girls Dawn, Paige and Elizabeth. Should I if they promise to never tell anyone?

I don’t usually talk or even think like this but I just got done answering a very racially charged question and it put me in this state of mind. I’m black and I work for my brother’s media company we do websites logos graphic design TV commercials, that type of thing I believe we do good work http://realitymediadesign.com/ people look at our clients and say “Oh you’re an urban company” we’re not trying to be an urban company “URBAN PEOPLE” for the most part the only ones who will work with us. We go after a somewhat large client who are white they turn us down then a couple of months later they choose a less talented white company to do their website TV, commercial etc. I just don’t get it. My question is what makes it so hard for white people to trust us?

I went to a friends (girl) 21st birthday lunch and then drinks last weekend and when I arrived sat between a friend I knew and a girl I had only seen once before who is friends with the birthday girl.

I was later told this girl was flirting with me but being me, I didn't realise plus I am very shy until I get to know people. I probably should have caught on because her friends kept trying to sway my attention away from me friends and into their group with her. However, whilst I would talk a short time with them, I would then turn away and keep talking with my friends.

Later than night, we went out for drinks and she wouldn't even acknowledge I was there. It was after this, my friend asked whether I noticed she was flirting but by this time she had gone home. I said now that you mention it....damn!

I feel that, although completely unintentional, I was rude and stand off-ish even though I am not really looking for a g/f at the moment and I'm very shy.

For instance, the people who take 30 items to the 15 items or less register. Taking one or two items more than is allowed isn't really a problem. But what about the people who take a whole cartload through the express lane. Do you ever say anything to them?

I never have.

Say you’re with a group a buddies, and you fart outside, loud enough to be audible. Do you still need to say, “Excuse me?” Since the fart is lost to the wind, it’s not like you’re stinking up anyone’s air.

Here in the UK, children are still told not to put their elbows on the table when eating. That's something that only adults may do. But I've read that in the US, people with good manners would never put their elbows on the table. Is that still true?

We are currently renting a condo in a nice area. However, someone has left their boat for sale on the streetside right where alot of us park for our complex. It's been there now for over a week and is a huge pain in the neck because everyone that lives here tries to park there. I don't know who's it is, so do I contact our property manager, or the police?
