If somehting says RSVP and it is an awards banquet, it would be formal dress right? I got this thing from the state for a contest that I entered and there were a lot of winners and it is going to be at the state capital and it said RSVP so it would be formal?

I cannot stand it when I am in the grocery store and people who know one another stop in the middle of the ailse to have a conversation. Pretending as if they have no idea or could care less that they are blocking people from getting through. Am I the only one that this bothers?? Just curious..

I am not complaining. I feel funny getting flowers that are not for someone else, but some people say we should give ourselves flowers to pamper ourselves. True?

for instance, it's my pet peeve when people come to my house and drink from a cup/glass and just rinse it with water when finished. they only do this when they drink water from the cup. It makes me mad because their germs are still on the cup, and i don't want to get that. When anyone drinks from a cup or glass, you need to wash it with soap. If you don't do that, then limit your habit at your home and don't do it in mine's. Am i the only one who feels this way? How can i tell the person this so they won't get offended?

Why is it that when someone asks for your honest opinion, you give it to them and then they report abuse? A person asked if I thought their joke was funny and all I said was that I didnt get it nor find it funny, then I got a violation. Ive received far worse answers from some of the questions Ive asked!!!

I recieved an invitation to an awards dinner for a community college EOP&S awards dinner. It is for low income and disadvantaged students. It is being held at the local Cal State and on the RSVP it says the attire is semi formal. What exactly does that mean. I usually wear Big Dog Tshirts and Jeans. Would a Button up shirt and jeans be okay or do I need to do more?

I went out with a large group. I had one drink. When the check came, one girl asked each of the rest of us for an extra $15 since it was one of the girl's birthday and "she shouldn't have to pay for her own drinks."

I had never met the birthday girl. The girl asking for money probably gathered a few hundred dollars by the time she hit up everyone.

I am TIRED of that discusting smell as AXE, TAB and other revolting ways that guys try to impress girls, following me EVERYWHERE!! One time I vomited after sitting next to this guy in spanish (4 foot 10, 110 pounds of pure fat) who was chokingly smothered in the stuff. The only good taht comes out of it is when I wreste on co-ed teams I can accuse the guys of cheating if I cough and say taht it was thier cologne.

I don't like to yell at ppl, but they are driving me bannanas!

Suggestions?

On Easter Sunday should I dress like a "proper young lady"? My daddy and charm school teacher agree I should wear a dress, however, most girls here (including the overweight ones) wear extremely tight jeans to church and I did until recently.

After some idle conversation she began talking about her religion, and trying to convert my daughter, can someone suggest a polite response to this sort of thing ? I think its wrong for people to be so zealous that they bug you in a store.I believe in a personal freedom to worship whatever faith you wish...but don't ram your choice down my throat

I have a profile on that site. I don't log on very often, but I'm on there. Anyway, I get a lot of friend requests from people I don't even know. Does this happen to a lot of other people, too? I usually deny the requests, because they're usually porn bots.

I have also gotten several friend requests from people I went to high school with. I thought that was weird, though it was kind of cool, too.

I mean everyone makes mistakes and has their own flaws, why can't people just except people for who they are and not critisize so much?

First off, I'm a guy who is a little on the short side--about 5'7" approximately. About a month ago, I started dating this girl who is a few inches taller than me. She's around 5'10" (that's what her driver's license says, anyway).

Some people have made comments about our height difference, saying that we look silly together. I'll admit, we probably do, but we really like being together. I can't really say that we're in love, since we've only been dating for a short amount of time.

If we're happy together, why should the whole height thing matter?

I just started dating a heavy guy i can't say i love him yet because we just started dating but i do love the way he makes me feel and how he's there when i need him he's by far one of the best things that's happend to me i'm 134lbs 5'5 all in the rear end and legs lol but i'm getting so sick of people judging me for being with him and making fun of me for being with him saying things like he's gonna squash you when y'all have sex or he's gonna sit on you or you're gonna be busy for a very long time tryin to please allllll of that there. why won't it stop why can't society take the time to get to know people before judging them based on their looks why?? why is it so hard on me now?

The wedding is for an ex work colleague of mine (I known him 6 months) & I already paid money in their wedding account at Debenhams (as their gift). I originally wanted to go but now can't be bothered because my other half ain't invited & not sure if my work colleague will be going or not, I feel lethargic & have big headache and I don't like my outfit. Would they be p***d off if I don't go? My mum says they will be as their final numbers determine their costs (food costs per head etc).
