I didn't get married until I was 30. My best friend is going to be married for the first time just before she will be turning 40.

It is worth it to wait for the right person no matter how long it takes. You only have one You. So I think it's great for a woman to not just settle because that is what might be expected.

I think she just hasn't met the right man yet. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her. In this day and age, she is far from old and has her best years ahead. As long as she is dating, what the hell, she should be out there having fun. I didn't meet my husand untl I was 32, so what's the big deal. I'm good looking, very smart, at that time had a great job, think I have a great sense of humor, had loads of friends, dated a lot, but just hadn't found a man I wanted to spend my life with. It happened. I met my husband when I was 32, but it was a long time before we settled down. We have been married for 15 years and lived together for about 6 years before that. We are extremely happy now, and it's no big deal that we didn't get marrried until we were in our 40's.

The question posed is 'what do I think of a woman who...' I think there is a great possibility that this woman is the kind which values virtues and common sense. Both of which are rare and admirable traits today. I am very attracted to values so what do I think? I think the world needs more ladies like her.

Thanks for asking the question. Are you a friend trying to help a friend JR90292? If so, good on you.

I don't think anything is wrong with her..their can be many reasons why, this isn't to say she has never been in-love, with what is going on in the world today with the divorce rate the way it is, at 32 she still has alot of years left in her to get married...

Sounds like she's never met the right person; just being a certain age is certainly no reason to get married. When and if she decides that someone IS the right person, I think she'll be a better person for having waited for the right one.

Wouldn't think much, there can be so many reasons. Some people are afraid of commitment, others are independent and like it that way, some want to get married and have been looking while others like it just fine single. Why should I judge her choices?

I would think that this is a woman wasn't stupid enough to just get married to the first man who came along. Definately not a woman who was desparate enough to lower her standards to simply SETTLE. You know what you want. In fact, you have taken the time to fine tune your expectations. I see a woman that I have a lot of respect for.

Needs to get out more and make a life for herself. Go and find Mr Right..it's ok if you find many Mr Wrongs in the process, that is half the fun!

Good luck!

Well it sounds like this "women" has qualities that make her a good candidate for a love relationship. Maybe if she wants to have a serious relationship she needs to be more out there with guys......Or maybe this women is looking for success.....buisness wise.......... this women just likes being independent..

I would think nothing about her except that she is who she is and has a right to choose whether she is single, married etc If I liked her as a person I would enjoy her company and humour and mind my own business about other personal matters.
