I don't live far from the place so I give about $1.00 cause the pizza joint charges $2.50 delivery fee and Im not made of money.

If I am only getting one pizza I usually tip like $2 or $3. If I order a crapload of pizza and soda and breadsticks, and the poor guy has to juggle all of it while walking to the door, I will go for like $5 or $7. It really depends on the weather, how much I ordered, and how much cash I have, in all honesty. If I order an $18 pizza and all I have is a $20, I give them the $20.

I just ordered chinese a few hours ago - not pizza, but it involved food magically showing up at my door.
They said 30 - 45 minutes. I gave my address. They said oh I remember you. We'll get it as soon as we can. My minimum tip is $5 for a delivery, more at holidays or bad weather. I had my food in 12 minutes. He got an $8 tip (Easter).
My max was a $25 tip (on a $18 order) at Christmas. Originally it was going to be $10, but the guy was so darn appreciative, and the weather was bad, so I felt guilty, so I found more money in my pocket. If I didn't tip him with it, I would have just blown it on something else.
Anybody want to be my pizza guy?

Depends where they are delivering from. Pizza delivery peole have to pay for their own gas. I usually tip $5 and they are only 3 blocks away.

Depends on how you feel the service was and how quick the delivery was. Also how quick you want the next pizza plain and simple the better the tip the quicker the delivery..

Nothing. I go an pick up the pizza myself. Either I wait 10 minutes for my pizza, or I wait an hour for the pizza to be delivered. When I'm hungry, why wait.
