I am poor, have little clothing, nothing appropriate and bad shoes and coat.I am afraid I'll be looked down on, but I really miss going to church. I stay way in the back when I do go, and stay away from everyone cuz I'm just there to pray.

I am nice to everyone. I just talk nice and stick to my word. I am getting married in 7 months, and I mean,... I am attractive, at 5'4. 100 or so lbs. But I don't act interested in other guys. But i constantly get hit on. I even dress conservatively. Jeans, usually two layered shirts, an over jacket, and tennies. And every-day i get obsourd lines from guys, and cat-calls. It hurts my feelings, and I am starting to think i am a prude for being offended. Whats going on?

In a couple of days my boyfriend's parents are going to be flying in from southeast asia, and I will be meeting them for the first time. My boyfriend has been away at work, and we are in the middle of getting phone service back in our house so I have no way of contacting him untill he arrives back at home. As he is heading back home he will be picking his parents up at the airport. He told me that when he arrived he wants food ready as they walk in the door, because they all are going to be starving. I went to google and typed in southeast asia and food, and the main thing that came up was cooked dog. I know that in our society it is completly wrong and revolting, but I really need to make the best impression that I possibly can. I went to the local SPCA and picked out the ugliest dog so i wouldn't feel bad about killing it, so that isn't an issue. I am wondering how you would cook a dog. What would be the best way to kill it, and tempurature for the oven? Also, what spices work best?

I got my hair professionally bonded...extensions. I am a caucasion, I paid $100.00 and I tipped the lady 20.00 She spent about 2 hours, it looked very very nice...After 3days, It began to slack, I went to her, she said she would repair it no problem. She did, the next day, it started to slack again. I called her and told her that I wanted my money back, she started being very very ghetto with me. Telling me things such as, "You're tripping, I dont know what you doing wit yo hair at home" blah blah blah. Screaming and blaming it on me that I didnt get it sewn in...She told me that the fusion would last 2-3 weeks...I got approx 8days out of it. She hung up on me...I have to go trough corporate...Should I talk to her face to face or leave her ignorant *** out of it and talk to corprate?! Its bothering me because I dont know how to stick up for myself against her when she talks ghetto.

Not to mention on very short notice.

I don't want to seem rude, but I don't want to overdo it.

The Management said that they were not supposed to take tips from that particular person because of their fame. The establishment allows tips in every other aspect of the job. They put the employee on a weeks suspension. They were to share the 800 with the other coworkers , which they did at a hundred per person. So is it permissable to suspend this person? and if it is unlawful what should they do and how can they combat it?

ok, the guy i was dating wanted me to buy a computer from him for 75$ (i didnt have one at the time but used the ones at work a lot) i wrote him the check and he loaded it up into my backseat for me. i drove 2 hrs home and when i got there and started unloading it guess what, no tower. i called him and asked him why and he said "i know i accidentally put it in the wrong vehicle"and said he would bring it to me in a few days. 2 weeks went by and i still didnt have it. i cancelled the check and didnt tell him because i thought if he still cases the check without giving me the tower then hes a real jerk. guess what, he called me up yelling at me because i stopped payment on the check and it costed him $500. then he started spreading lies about me and we never spoke again. i felt like he was insulting my intelligence but i feel guilty for some reason even though he got what what he deserved. who was right?

My upstairs neighbor used to be a single woman who was never home and couldn't tell when she was - she was very quiet. She moved out a couple of weeks ago and now I have new neighbors who I haven't seen yet but I sure have heard them! I'm assuming there are children which is understandable... I have children too but that's why I chose to live in a downstairs apartment. The noise is VERY loud. The staircase is right next to our living room area, which is where we spend most of our time. I'm trying to just get used to it but my children take naps and need their quiet time during the day. I don't want to be rude, it's their place too but I don't know how to deal with this effectively so if you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

What is it about the bus which makes people incredibly rude and selfish?!
I cannot count the number of times I've been pushed, shoved, stomped, and shouted at on the bus. I have no option but to use the buses to get to university and it's not easy considering I can have anywhere up to two bags of books and also my (expensive) bass guitar. I wouldn't mind if people said excuse me but most just shout and scream at you.
Any other views people??

I was standing at the corner waiting for the green light. These hispanic guys in a car were looking at my way and screaming hey China Doll, so I smiled. They got angry said I wasn't talking to you Fu### F$g . They were screaming at the pretty asian girl behind me. Was it wrong of me to smile at them. I'm a asian guy.

I have two dogs and one of them is a pit bull. Well an associate of of mine wanted to come over my house and asked me if I would lock him in the room before she came. I politely told her that I do not lock my dogs up when visitors come over because it causes too much stress for the animal. I offered to put the dog in a "down stay" but she said no and refused to come over. My dog is not vicious; I have three small children at home and never once has he as much as nipped at them. He has had professional obedience lessons and is very well trained. I feel that the only reason she wants me to lock him up is because of his breed because she didn't say anything about the other dog. For me that is not a good enough reason. If she were allergic I would have considered it. I just don't believe in locking them up when a guests come over because it causes them to not like strangers, dogs should be socialized. Do you think I was wrong for my decision. I felt kind of bad for telling her no.

I am being hooked up by my friend with a low rent (3/4 of normal price) while I look for work. Lately he has complained about the temp I keep the my area of the house (68-70) and he comes into my area and turns down the temp without asking me. I help him out with a number of other things in order to compensate for the lower rent and we never talked about him controlling the temp. I feel bad since he is hooking me up, but I feel that he is overstepping his bounds on this one.

I am in need of two letters of recommendation. One from a teacher and the other from my high school guidance counselor. I have not seen either of them in quite a while as I have gone away to college. It has been several months since I have talked with them.

How might I start the letter without sounding rude. I cannot go and see them in person because I am several states away.

Thanks
