it doesent matter what the question is,people just want to respond to piss other people off..why cant someone ask a serious question without someone saying something hurtfull..?

There are a lot of people who ask ridiculous questions and are asking for a rude response. I just responded to some guy who said that he's so hot that unattractive girls don't even look at him. He's asking for trouble, and quite frankly, he needs to be taken down a peg or two. Aside from those situations, I agree with you. People should try to be sincere and honest and open in responding to peoples questions, and in life generally.
You never know what kind of day someone has had, and being nice to them could make all the difference in the world.

I know what you mean!..
These nasty people just need to pump themselves up and make themselves feel better. It is a flaw in their personality, that they need to bring others down, or have a got at them, reading into things, and making judgements!.
I just asked a question about society and manners, and asked what others thought about where society was headed, and this lady came on telling me I only do nice things to get praise (pleased she knows me) and that my time isn't worth a thank you!.... Hmmm! (thanks for that!)
That's life unfortunately!
