I love this question. It reminds me of when I first met Thackerey. We were playing football in the shared community yard between the apartments. I'll never forget how he drilled me in the head with the football, knocked me over, and kicked me in the face. Things are so different now. Thackerey has grown, and his pummelings are now delivered online via email or other internet discussion. His verbal insults are the equivalent of a football to the head, or a kick in the face. So really, it still is like the old days.
