So we were playing handball for P.E yesterday and me and my friend just sat in the back court playing "I Spy" and then my PE teacher Mrs. Buckley told us to do another lap. So, me and my friend walked the lap while talking and Mrs. Buckley yelled at us for not running and I said "You didn't tell us to run!" and then we really had to go to the bathroom but we took a long time but I am not gonna tell you because its perosnal but when we got out Mrs. Buckley got all ed because we wasted most of our PE time and were going to get refferals or calls to home. Then, I told her jokingly "I don't care about ym PE grade and I am going to rip it up and throw it away," and then I laughed. So, Mrs. Buckley talked to my teacher and my teacher Mrs. Joly- Cause called and told my parents everything I said to Mrs. Buckley. So, I decided that I am going to ignore Mrs. Buckley int he morning because she is also a parking lot person and we usually talk but I will ignore her. Is that a good thing to do?

I live in California and hate going to the mall. The younger generation here is becoming soooo rude. A group of them will be walking towards you and basically shove the other people out of the way. I visited South Carolina and a group of young people were walking towards us in the mall, stepped aside and said excuse us. So where do you think the rudest people, and the most considerate people live?

There is a man who works for the same company I do, but we work in different buildings. Sometimes he comes into my building and tries to talk to me but it creeps me out a little because I am 29 and married and this guy knows it and he is in his 60's at least. He says things like, ""You ought to come over there and work beside me and keep me company." and " Then after he quits talking and while I am still trying to work he stands there, lingering and staring at me. He seems like a harmless old man but kind of in a creepy way. I try to go out of my way now and change my routine so that he doesn't find me because when he does he just stands there staring at me. I get really weirded out. Maybe I am reading the situation the wrong way - what is your opinion. I wish I had some guy's opinions too, as to what I might say to make this fellow quit coming over to find me.

I'm a straight guy yet I very rarely read on the toilet (I'd say 4-5 times a year)! From what I've heard and observed, it seems that most men have to frantically search for that perfect newspaper/magazine article to read while taking a poop. As for me, though, I hardly ever do that, for three reasons:
a) I don't sit on the toilet long enough to bother.
b) I'd rather read somewhere where it doesn't stink.
c) I've heard from many sources that sitting on the toilet for extensive amounts of time causes hemorrhoids, which is not good for the health.
Having said all that, it's also said that reading on the toilet is supposed to be a "man's thing" - sort of like girls spending hours on the cell phone. So does not reading on the toilet make me "less of a man"? I know that nobody would/should ever know what I do or don't do in the bathroom, but I was just wondering if it's "normal" (in lack of a better term) for a man to not read on the john?

you give your opinion, such as on here, someone doesn`t like it and instead of saying ok, it`s their opinion, let them have it, you get reported for a violation! britain is still a free country for speech, we should be alowed to express ourselves as we like.

I've been telling my co-worker that I think her son is handsome. He's a babe. I don't know if she likes it or not....should I just shut up about it? I'm not trying to hook up with him or anything - well actually, I wish he would go for a date with my neice.... Do mom's like it when women say their son is hot? Are they flattered or insulted?

The toilet seat was not invented for women only, it was invented because people sit when they use the toilet. And, the proper form of respect is putting the lid down. The lid is there so no one visiting will be offended by having to look at the innards of your toilet. So respect us all, and put the lid down when you leave.

I live in a new community where all the properties are not divided by fences in the fron yard, and they are not allowed either. I live in a culdesac with only 4 houses on the street but there is this neighbor that is a renter not a home owner that everytime I take out my trash they shove my trashbins further into my driveway. Since there is no fence to seperate us I think they think that it is their territory. So I moved my bins a little closer to my driveway, but last week they put them right behind my garage door that I almost hit when I was pulling out. and I can't put my bins on the other side cause that neighbor puts hers there and there is no room for mine. Should I write them a letter? Is this considered tresspassing? Should I go to the police? Help.!!!!!

Ok I"ll try to make this short and give as many details as I can. My bf and I seem to be going through something right now. I feel like we are not as close as we use to be. We do work together and we have the same group of friends so we do see each other a lot. But we were really close and she helped me through some really tough times. She seems to treat me differnantly now and I am really hurt by it (and everything that is going on), I am not sure if I did something or if she does not like me anymore or what.. I really want to ask her about it, how do I talk to her about it? How do I bring it up in a nice way?

As in insulting you, calling you every name under the sun and accusing you of things that you know are not true... And this person doesn't even know you that well...

I consider myself to be very fair and liberal on almost all issues under the sun - but today, a coworker remarked me "you don't understand the other person's point of view - you don't feel in his place" - what the heck is that? I am in my place and he's in his - why should there be any need for understanding his pain - that's his problem isn't it?

That day someone told me, "My Mom died recently" - all I said was "That must feel sad" - now she got offended terribly - was I being unempathetic?

There was a French guy in my office where I worked before - once I tried to converse with him in my school French - although taking great care, I made some PRONUNCIATION mistakes - there you go again - I was accused of being insensitive and unempathetic - WHY? Because I ought to have apologized to him for my poor knowledge of French before DARING TO speak in his mother tongue.

Anybody has had similar experiences?

I called one of those gentleman's 900 numbers and was enjoying a pleasant conversation until I said something to upset the beautiful lady on the other end of the phone. Anyway, she hung up on me but I had 1/2 hour coming to me & only received 12 minutes. Got the phone bill today and was charged for 30 minutes.

I called the number to complain but all that happened is I got another lady who thought I was seeking a "good time" conversation. I assume I'll be charged additionally for another 30 minutes now.

What should I do? How do I get in touch with the managers at this 900 number without going through the beautiful girls assuming I'm looking for a "good time" conversation?
