ran into this guy that I used to mess around with at school today...I was walking and he was coming in the opposite direction, and he was just staring at him...so what do you know he's walking towards me at my major office..and he's looking at me...and I said to myself..even though he did me wrong..and dropped me like a bad habit I'll be the bigger person and speak..and so as hes walking towards me I say Hi allen..and he says what's up man...and ignores me...(and I think to myself...oh okay he ignored me) and then we both walked into the office..and he bumped into me and didn't even say excuse me...and I turn around..and he's looking all around everywhere except me...and I say aloud okay it's like that....and I laugh aloud..like damn he really doesn't like me for some reason..I know you all can't read what he was thinkin but why do you think he acted the way he did..when he told me to get lost basically...I personally think he's pissed for some reason

I have been getting Botox injections by set appointment at a Spa for a year. My question is if I should tip him as any other Spa service (like a massage)? Before a relocation my injections were at a Doctor's office (so no tipping)—but am confused by what is customary at a Spa. Insight or links to advice would be perfect! Thanks.

Please no responses to debate the effcts of botox, blah-blah-blah...will report.

I mean I mostly hear people say "How are you?" "How are you doing?" "It's a nice day."......etc. When people ask,"Are you good?", is the answer supposed to be "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you."?

every night these little creatures fly into my room through the vents. they call themselves fairies, and in case you're wondering i already asked them if by "fairies" they meant "gays," and they said "no, those are a different fairies." there's usually two of them and they always argue with me about politics and stuff. i made what i thought was a really good point about immigration and the green fairy went nuts on me. he really didn't like where i was coming from. he threatened to haunt me day and night if i didn't steal an old lady's purse and bring it to him. i thought he was kidding at first, you know just caught up in the heat of the moment. so i didn't steal any old lady's purse, and he came back that night asking for it and i told him i didn't have it. he told he was dead serious, that he would make my life a living hell if i didn't have it for him tonight. what should i do? i don't want to go to jail, but i don't want to be bothered by a dam fairy my whole life, either

I just want to ask opinions of if I am overreating??

My husbands cousins child had a birthday this week. He wasn't having a party, but I still went out of my way on the weekend to go and buy a present for him.
On the day of his birthday, I went there, and the little birthday boy (2) wasn't there, but woud be home at 1pm, I said I would come back, but left the present with his mother.
I couldn't get there at 1pm, but I called my husbands cousin (who wasn't even home at 1pm) and left a message to say I couldn't get there, as my 1 year old was in bed asleep.

I haven't heard from them. (not that I am expecting the 2 year old to call me, thought the mother might of)

Just want to ask your opinions of this.

I am big on manners, my kids have to say please, or they don't get what they are asking for, and are all told to thank people when they give you something. (I do it for my 1year old obviously).

Is this where society is headed? unappreciative, disrespectful?

My old Oxford University college invited me back to the college for a reunion one evening last summer. When I arrived there was nobody there I recognised because there were very few people there from my year.
I got talking to one guy at the bar. He invited me to join his group, who he seemed to know. They seemed pleasant enough. However after a short break he introduced me to a girl. She asked me to sit down, whereupon she proceeded to give me a massage. I assumed she was also a student, which would be OK. However it turned out she was a massuese in the bar, and at the end this guy handed her a £20 note. It seems rather odd to have done that for me. The only thing I can think is that it was a subtle put-down, that he was a rich banker (which he was) and wanted to subtly demonstrate to his friends that I was not up to his standards: a put-down.
But maybe I am wrong, and he was happy with my company, and as a fellow graduate he was showing a generous largesse towards me.

My mother-in-law is acting as hostess for my upcoming baby shower (which according to etiquette is a no-no anyway). They ask me about what I like and what I want, but when I tell them they sort of think it's dumb or going over board. I don't think of myslef as a traditional person by any means and don't really want a completely traditional baby shower! (I didn't even have a traditional wedding) Why should we have to follow "tradition" and who says we should? Why is everyone thinking that I'm so wrong for wanting a say in what I have at my baby shower? I seem to be doing everything else anyway like invitations, favors, and even finding the place where we're going to have it! Maybe I should just be planning my own baby shower!!!

Our non profit group recently held a conference at a local high school. They gave us a discounted rate and really went out of their way to make sure we had a great day. We are hoping to give them a small thank you gift but we are all pretty stumped as to what we should get. We are hoping to spend under $75 and would like it to be beneficial to the whole school. Any ideas??

I work at KFC and my co workers thought I spilled gravy because it dribbled down my pants leg and left a trail on the floor.

I came back and my manger was on her hands and knees scrubbing it up complaining that someone kept spilling gravy.

Luckily I got a break within 10 minutes and I went home to change my pants but I kept leaking "gravy."

I guess nobody smelled it because the odor of our chicken is so strong.

My boss wasn't wearing gloves when she was cleaning my shat and I don't think she washed her hands either.... Was I wrong for not saying it was my excrement?

This actually happened to me.

One morning you get out of your car and wait for the elevator in your office parking garage (very slow elevator can take 5mins), standing next to a 20ish-30ish boy you don't know. Just the two of you no one else around.
You notice his fly is down and it is obvious he is not wearing underwear. His manhood is not completely hanging out of his pants but you can clearly see almost all of it (including the head). He shows no signs of knowing his fly is down.

What do you do? and would you be offended or upset?

btw... i was the one with the fly down.

My friends are always on diets and I am not. When I go to restaurants with them, they always pick on my menu choices - if I order a salad, they say "Oh! just a salad, that's why you are so thin". But if I order lasagna, then they say "I hate you". OR, we will all go out shopping and none of them want to stop for a coffee or a snack, because they are all on diets. So I end up feeling faint. It is not a huge deal, but sometimes it just gets on my last nerve.
