I really don't want to know if you are good or bad. I want to know if you are fine, doing well.

Imagine this scenario. A maths class at school with the old fashioned trapdoor type desks. A class teacher says now, take out your angle measurers. A slightly deaf psychotic kid pulls out an angle grinder and revs it up. The teacher shouts timmy! What are you doing!?! What you told me to do miss! he says. Put it away at once!!!! the teacher shouts! How dare you! Timmy then drops it on the floor and it whizzes off out of shout.
End scene.
LMFAO!!!!

Isn't annoying (for those of us who work) to be reminded by people on the radio that when the weather is crap (snow) like in the UK now, we should only go out if we have to. I don't like going into work at the best of times let alone be reminded I shouldn't go out unless I have to.

I really dislike people who mock others, and pull the piss out of them in front of other people. If the mocked person gets offended, the perpetrator says 'it's all in good fun and don't take it personally'. How can you not take it personally? Did the offender pull the piss out of the brick wall behind you? No, they pulled the piss out the poor bugger sitting in front of it. My logic is, some people do that to make themselves look funny and smart in front of their mates at somebody else's expense. What is your logic? Why do you think people do it?

I deal with a co-worker who is a very disrespectful know-it-all. Granted, she does have a lot of experience in this field, but unfortunately, she does not voice her disapprovement in a "constructive" manner. She will belittle you in front of customers in very sharp words, and won't even help in the solution of the problem. Any advice on what to do when she does it next?

for example, in the subway train. There are lots of people who fall asleep during the ride. Is it polite to wake them up? because they might miss their stop and be late for work for example.
Or is it rude, what do you think?
i usually wake up people, because i missed my stop like this couple times.

My boss pays for my cell phone service since I mainly use it for work. I recently asked for a new phone because mine was having problems charging (but the battery seemed to be fine). He got me a new phone without a question, but I didn't like the phone he got me. Mainly the buttons were too small and I had trouble keeping the ear piece positioned over my ear. So I went and purchased a different phone on my own. Now I'm wondering how best to handle the situation when it comes up that I'm not using the phone he purchased.

For what it's worth, the phone he purchased was a very low end basic phone. I don't know if he got it free as a yearly upgrade on my number, but I was due for one.

On the one hand I'm very tempted to just stick the one he purchased in a drawer and if the question ever comes up just say I dropped it and it broke. On the other hand, I feel like I should just return it and say I didn't really like it so I purchased a different phone.

I have a neighbor who is LOW CLASS, TRASH, LOW LIFE, and has monster trucks, has tattoos and every other word coming from his mouth is an "F" word. He has tried to argue with me a couple of times and now I completely ignore him. His kids and him are doing lame things like leaving stupid notes on my car, breaking my front lawn sprinkler system, etc..etc...

Today, someone "jokingly" said to me: "I'll bet when you were born, they had to tie knots in your legs to make knees". I have always been thinner than I really want to be and I don't really take kindly to these kinds of remarks. If I act insulted, then all I hear are the remarks about how I'm overreacting and I should be glad I'm SO thin...but the truth is, I AM insulted. If people wouldn't comment on someone's obesity right to their face, how do they justify making just as crude of a remark to ME?

...a human skull, that is.

Gut instinct suggests that he should call the authorities. But let's say that the guy in question wants to keep the skull and display it on his mantle. I mean, the authorities would take the skull away to run a bunch of tests on it, and would likely never let him have it back.

I work at a place where profanity is quite the norm. Hardly a sentence can be spoken without cursing or references to ones anatomy. I assumed that this was because of the blue collarness of my job. I will be leaving this job behind very soon. Having visited a few "white collar" places is this still the norm?
