LOL. I think it is utter stupidity. But I guess the gits have to appear bright or some such.

Pull a sick and go home nad get in your nice warm house. Im home with my boys and its great beside my older son is so loud at times, bless.
I think the whole of britian stops when it snows unlike other places who get snow all the time. We just panic and say stay home dont drive its dangerous but hey we still go out and seem to be fine.
Go home and chill out you sound like you need to chill and have time off work.

Well, if it gets *really* bad sometimes people get to go home early even from work, to avoid the rush. A couple weeks ago in that bad storm -I think it hit the UK too- some people I knew got to go home after such warnings.

I don't think they're addressing working people.... Going to work is a "have to" situation... And you think snowing is bad... You should come where I live (southern Romania) and pray to see one damned snowflake the whole winter... It's freezing hell...with no snow whatsoever.... Last week it snowed for about 15 minutes and everyone rushed outside to see it...

Yes i agree, what would happen if all the doctors and nurses said ok lets not go in then? The teachers seem to be getting the day off though dont they trust them.

Yes, I definitely see your point, but if they're on the radio and tv..THEY have to go out in it too.. so I think they probably sympathize with us!

Why don't you work from home?
Change careers if this is such a big deal for you.
There's nothing like working from home :)
