Read the details before you answer....

My son was invited to a birthday party...well unknown to him the kid that invited him is a twin (his brother is in another class) So...I am not sure if it's expected to bring a gift for both boys or just for the boy that he knows. Seems like if both boys invited everyone in their class that would just be to much. Personally as a mom I would not expect for someone to buy a present for my kid they were not friends w/ but I want to know if I am totally off base.

this co-worker said "maybe " when i asked him to give me a ride home-we live right by each other and i hate driving in the snow-i thought he was a gentlemen but he suggested i take the back way home when i asked for a ride and then he said he might take me home-he flirts with me so i thought he would take me home..but then i got another ride..so was he being rude?

Why is it that sometimes in the middle of my editing, it closes down without warning. Then when I switch it on again, I have to start all over again. I have done a virus scan and everything there is fine?

My ex wife and I while we were married had a visit from my folks from out of state. We were at a Pizza hut and after my father ate a bit of the pizza and drank a huge gulp of soda He let out with a wallop of a burp. My wife and I almost fell through the floor! Everyone just staired at my father.

Yesterday I had to leave the office briefly for a doctors appointment. When I was getting ready to leave, one of my co-workers asked where I was going. (it was lunch time-and I scheduled it over my lunch as to no be off during regular work time). I simply stated I had an appointment. She asked me if I was getting my hair done, I said no, I just have an appointment. And as I was leaving, she made a big fuss in front of another employee that it must be a BIG secret not to tell where I was going. I was so mad that I re-opened the door and told her that if she MUST know, I had a doctors appointment. Then I left. When I returned, she came into my office and asked me what was wrong with me. I told her I'm ok. Then she said, I shouldnt keep secrets from her that she is entitled to know because she cares about me as a friend. I just blew her off and said ok, whatever. Today, at lunch, she proceeded to ask me again about my appointment. I told her I didnt want to talk about it.

my ex is really annoying. he is so annoying i think about shooting myself. he is really nice and is in two of my classes. he tries so hard to be cool and it makes him look dumb. he will literally repeat the same sentence 5 times because everyone tries to ignore him. he is not over me and i want him to shut up. what should i do?????

in school, i told a couple dumb jokes, not offensive ones, which got my easily humored friend laughing. Well after a while, jokingly i said, "If you were a girl, you'd be all wet" my teacher got mad at me, and said that my comment was inappropriate. I dont think that it was that big of a deal, since i was referring to peeing your pants after laughing so hard, and i have heard that girls do it more than guys. my other friend told me that it was because some people find urination to be arousing, even though the reason for urination is to get rid of liquid waste. i dont know if it was just a misinterpretation, and though i was referring to something dirty, or was sexist. either way, i didnt think it was all that big of a deal to react like that. what are your thoughts?

I was at work earlier and went into the bathroom and a woman just walked out of the bathroom. I dont know if it was her, but the smell was so disgusting, I spit.

So they dig them up and preformed tests on them.?what idiots, what evil people to dig them up and move them,from their eternal embrace.what do you think? would you like to be dug up some time in the future,they should leave those people alone.would you want to be on display some were later ,or at rest in your grave.

I found it terrified when I see people in spitting and sneeze in public places in China. It is reported that there are about 800 million people in at present moment. If everyone spit and sneeze an average of 5 times a day, there will be about 4 billion spits and sneezes in the whole country everyday!!! Now, I think I understand how SARS are spread a few years ago.

1. Why cant a teacher teach instead of making time to stuff your face in front of a class? Can your student do this? NO! So why do they do this?
2. Why is it ok to call a student dumb, and stupid, get away with it. Why do teachers have so much protection, when they are abusive, then deny it?
3. Why do teachers teach if they are prejudice? Dont even go there to say there is no such thing, bite your tongue!
4. Why is it that a student could get assulted on campus grounds, beat up the restrooms and tell the parent we will protect your child, & your child wanted to get jumped and lets put the child in a safe place isolated called oportunity, so that child can resent and become angry, then blame the parents. Children pick up some bad habbits in our schools, schools in denial.
5. It would be nice to learn to teach rather than criticise and criple someones life, teachers have that power to ruin someones life.
6. Would like to see our schools care about the children with a loving staff!

Our beloved family dog Billy is being put to sleep on 14/2/07 due to very old age. My Mum has had him for 19 years. My youngest brother left home 7 years ago and she has only really had Billy with her. She is so sad, I don't know what to do.? Is a card enough? Or how about a scrap book of her and BIG BILL?

I work in a family restaurant as a server and I'm teling you there are some awful mean people out there!! I do't understand why they can't be kind to us...at least two times a week one of the girls I work with cries over someting there tables said to them. I personally think that's ridiculas. We should strike and see how people feel then! They wouldn't know what to do!!

I swear, I'm trying to be polite when I ask people questions that others might easily assume, but by asking the question, people get so easily offended. For example, instead of assuming a religion believes something is true, I approach someone and *ask* if it's true, but they get all defensive as if I had some underlying motive or hidden agenda when I had zero intent on anything but satisfying my own knowledge. Is there a better way to approach the situation? Is there a way I can understand how something works or the beliefs of an individual without offending them? So far, I'm thinking not.

Ok, my friend is having a baby in the first part of may and i am throwing her a baby shower in April. It was going to be next month but they are closing on a house next week and will be moving in by the end of march. So i guess my question is.... Should i throw them a house warming party as well or should i leave that to someone else??

Our neighbor who sued us last summer (because of our hedge) has held a grudge ever since - and she won her case! She sued us because we grew our hedge 10 feet high in the back yard and she couldn't see down the street into the other yards while relaxing on her deck. Anyway, strange things are happening ever since the court date. People are calling asking how much we are selling our house for, and cars, etc (they are not for sale) and when I ask them their name and where they got our # they hang up. Sometimes she has followed us in our car. We have taken alternate routes just to see if she was, infact, following us - and she was - through parking lots, around the backsides of stores, etc. I went to the local police department last week and what they told me was to wait it out and see if it keeps happening. They kind of thought it was funny. "It " has been happening since August.

Why would someone take a big nasty dump and just leave it there? How hard is it to use your foot to flush the toilet? It is disgusting and i feel bad for the people who have to clean these bathrooms because these idiots make it harder for them. I also hate people who pee all over the toilet seat.

To refer to my step mom as STEP MOM when someone asks? When she refers to me as her own daughter! See we're very close and I love her just as if she were my own mom. I have just never really thought to call her mom! I know my mom wouldn't care a bit. What should I call her when I refer to her?
