I go to a store in our small burg and there is a couple who shop there who are nice. Polite. etc. The problem is that they leave a trail of stink that is really not funny. Some days are worse than others and I just don't know a solution. I am pretty up front with people but they may not take it so well??? Is it possible they don't know?

A co-worker breast feeds in public in my office (we are a baby-friendly workplace). Several male co-workers make demeaning comments and are noticeably uncomfortable. I want to say something...but how can I tactfully tell them to grow up?

I was having a heated conversation with a co-worker. He got very angry and tried to hit me. Luckily I got away before the situation got out of hand. Should I report this to my boss, or chalk it up to a learning experience (and just keep my distance)?

Ok heres the sitch, I was walking back from my grans funneral with my 3 year old (We live near by) when he announced he need "go **** ****." So I took him into the mall and entered the men's restroom. Hes not past using the training seat so I held him above the toilet, putting the urn down by the side, as took the dump. But at that moment some fat *** banged into our door and it swung open. I turned round - forgeting my son's predicament - just as he slipped his slop all over, and into, My poor late grandmothers urn... Its now one day later and im sitting at home having thoroughly cleaned and polished the outside of the urn. The problem is how the hell do I clean out the inside with out pouring poor Grandma out like a bloody toy box all over the carpet?! I really don't wanna have to sieve through her and pick out my sons dried sh*t. Please help! what do i do?!

What can I get as a present for my friends who are having an engagement party next week? They are a young couple in their mid 20's and won't be buying a house together for a couple of years yet, so 'house stuff' isn't an option. Help!

I wear a kilt every day no mater what I am doing. I've received conflicting advice on what I should wear with the kilt. The tartan is BLACK WATCH which I can wear because my grandfather served (and died) with the regement) I like wearing a plain white shirt with a white Aran pullover. Are there any "conventions" which forbid this

I caught a co-worker looking down the back of my pants today at work, he was acting like he was helping me with something on my computer but I saw him in the reflection of my screen looking down at my butt the whole time. Do all guys try to see girls panties?

This world would be good to live in if everyone would learn to have more love in them. Sometimes we cant show love because many people do have problems and could use a smile, dont let it discourage you when they bark back at you, little do you know what gift you gave today with a smile. Might stop someone from killing themselves, wont want to try drugs, will beleive in hope, and trust in having some faith. We hurt our own people day and night by thinking we are better sometimes, that is just not a proven fact. This world is full of negative, and just off the looney wagon! For our own good and a safer & respectable tomorrow, learn to act right, and lets all stop acting like we dont care! As if we were created to act like animals? Oh yeah the difference money, power, middle, low class. Get over it! Think about the youth our tomorrow is our youth, so adults need to be aware of the damage done to todays youth. We could prevent so much by acting like respectable citizens...Thank You!

I work with the public (not in the medical field)....and people come to my office sick with colds, or bring their sick kids that have the flu in here. I think it is sooo rude and I hate to wait on these inconsiderate people. I have a 3 yr old son and would hate to think he has gotten sick because of something I got from being around these people. I do what I can to prevent being sick, washing hands frequently, not touching my face, and taking vitamins. But don't you agree its rude to go around people when you have a very contagious illness?

I can't knit, and hate artificial fibres. Oddly, some people who know me fairly well got me a kit with acrylic yarn and a knitting pattern for a baby outfit & blanket. (I'm pregnant.)

I thanked them, noting, though, that I couldn't knit. I wrote something to the effect of 'It's an intimdating box!'

And got a reply expressing happiness that I'd liked the present.

Anyway. It's likely going in my pile of "stuff that will end up at the baby consignment store."

But what do I say about the baby being minus a knitted jacket &c? The odds are excellent that it'll be asked about.

I work with a bunch of people that share a refrigerator. This afternoon I went to get my lunch and accidentally knocked someone's lunch on the floor. I feel just horrible about it. I left a note on the refrigerator door stating what happened. My question is should I have signed the note? I didn't put my name or initials on the note at all. I feel so guilty.

This has happened to me recently. I was caught off-guard so I just sat there and let out a long "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." Untill someone else offered to do it. Should I just have something prepared for next time? What's one that short and sweet, but not so much that it's disrespectful.

Also, is there something I can say other than "bless you" when someone sneezes, I don't want to appear to be rude.

The other day I was at work. To make a long story short, one of my female coworkers was being a real, um, well, for the sake of politeness, let's just say cranky person. I asked her what her problem was, and she just sighed, saying, "I'm on my period, okay?"

I rolled my eyes and walked away. As I was leaving, I saw the intercom system. I came so close to getting on that thing and making the announcement "Attention everyone! Make sure you walk around Ann (that was the woman's name) on pins and needles today. She is having her period. I repeat, she is ON HER PERIOD. Thank you, and take care."

Well, I didn't make that announcement. But I can't help but wonder if I should have. It's not my fault--or anyone else's fault for that matter--that she is menstruating. I mean, I'm sure she's feels bad, and she has my sympathies. But I, too, have days when I feel bad, and it's comparable to her situation. And I don't take it out on other people. I expect the same courtesy in return.

So many questions on here about nudity and its offensiveness. Most are united is saying nudity is not offensive.

If this is true why is it that when someone has to change or be nude breifly in the presence of another adult they cover thier eyes or turn around. I understand if the person wants privicy or ask them to turn around but aren't we to the point where we can see another adult naked without thinking it is wrong or bad or evil or unnatural or sexual.

If you were with a person (either of same or oppisite sex) that had to change or get naked for some reason and didn't ask you to leave or turn around and seemed at ease with being undressed in front of you, would you cover your eyes or turn round on your own?

By the way, this person happens to be my MOTHER IN LAW!

Hi, I am working in the IS department of a performing arts company. In the user's meeting I always use my PDA with BT Keyboard and mouse to keep notes and minutes. But everybody else uses good old pen and paper notebook, including my IS colleagues, for this purpose. My question is, do I look nerdy by using those hi-tech things? Should I also stick to pen and papers? Thanks.
