I work with a bunch of people that share a refrigerator. This afternoon I went to get my lunch and accidentally knocked someone's lunch on the floor. I feel just horrible about it. I left a note on the refrigerator door stating what happened. My question is should I have signed the note? I didn't put my name or initials on the note at all. I feel so guilty.

Yes, you should've.

Go claim you just realised you didn't sign it, while you were wondering why you didn't hear anything from them -- and then offer to buy lunch.

Yes, you should have signed it but think outside the box next time. What a perfect way to meet someone for lunch by messing up there's in the refrigerator. Of course you would have to buy lunch but if you can meet a hot babe or guy in the meantime then go for it.

Yes, you should have signed it. Just offering an explanation, but no reparation, doesn't count as much of an apology.
Go sign the note, and offer to treat them to a real lunch to make up for it.

Signing the note is not so bad as making restoration. Did you provide money or a new lunch or even offer yours?

If I bump into someones car in a parking lot, I leave a note. It goes like this: "I hit your car, sorry for your luck Loser." I never sign it, but people see me put it there and assume I;m doing the right thing. ou didn't need to sign it, it was an accident, you don't want to have to buy someone lunch over an accident, do you?

yeah you should have put your name on the note and told them to come see you about it then you could have offered to buy them lunch.

I think the comment of buying a lunch or leaving a small gift in the fridge with the person's name on it with a note , please accept my apology , sorry again ! - no name.

Just go back and put your name on the note or write a new one.
Then replace the food.
End of guilt.
