What's standard tip for the pizza delivery guy. Is it percentage of total bill like a waitperson?

I usually round the bill up to the next dollar and then add $2, $3 if its good fast delivery (meaning they get the pizza to me within 10 mins of when they said they would).

So if the parlor says the pizza is $12.75 and would be there in 30 minutes and it gets there in 40, i will give the driver a total of $16.

45 minutes and he would get $15.

to the person tipping the delivery guy $1... haha you might want to inspect your pie next time before you eat it. It's probably got something on there that doesn't belong.

This is not answerable by dollar amounts...it has to be percentage based.. where I grew up a large pizza with 1 topping was $6.25. Where I live now it is more like $16.50. I usually tip the same you would tip a waiter...15-20%

I think it's already included on the bill but if that's not the case then a couple of dollars is good enough. At least that's what I have been doing every week.

Give the poor guy a tip. You don't have to give him 20%, but I would give somewhere between 5 and 10%

I say two or three bucks. that guy that said five or six bucks is nuts, he must be a delivery guy. That's half the price of the pie.

wow i usually only tip a couple bucks! :x i guess i'm only getting one pizza though. if i had a bunch of pizzas, i'd do a couple more dollars. i never thought i was cheap!
