I live in apartment-style residence on campus. I have my own apartment but I share laundry facilities with other GRAD students (we're NOT first-year students or anything!) Today I did some laundry and put it in the dryer. When I came back to collect my laundry, I found that someone had ADDED their wet laundry to mine in the dryer! They were trying to steal drying time from me! It resulted in MY clothes not being fully dry. Plus, their gross laundry included BLOOD-STAINED thongs! How DISGUSTING is that? I took all their clothes out of the dryer, put them in a plastic bag and hung them with a note on my RA's door. Frankly, I don't think that I was rude enough. If this happens again what should I do?

I can't believe GRAD STUDENTS could be so disgusting and immature! I feel like I'm living in a pig pen!

I know a guy who will not use a public mens' room. He came with me and some friends to do some Christmas shopping last week. When we stopped to get gas and snacks at a convenience store, he urinated around the back of the building- outdoors where passersby could see him! We all found it disgusting and revolting that he would pull such a stunt- after all, there were clean restrooms both at the store and at the mall where we'd been. He simply said, "I don't like using the mens' room." According to one of my pals, he does that a lot, and it's the same excuse every time. Why???

my upstairs neighbours are constantly playing loud, thumping music and it gets really annoying. the logical thing to do would be to ask them to stop or to complain, but after telling my idiot friend about the problem, he convinced me that we should vandalize their door. i know, it was retarded and i dont need to know that from you. im afirad now that if i talk to them, theyll kick my ***. srsly, what do i do?

There is a guy in my building who works in the office down from mine. We aren't co-workers I just see him on the elevator occasionally and we talk. He parks 3 cars down from me and it took me a year to notice him. Now I really kinda like him. He misplaced his winter coat this year and he is determined to find it that is why he hasn't bought a new one. I thought it would be really thoughtgul and cute to buy him a hat, gloves and scarf set for Christmas and attach a note. The note would say "Since it took me a year to notice you. My early new years resolution is to be less self-absorbed. This is my first selfless gesture and aren't you glad I chose you?" Just to be funny at least. My problem is his office set up like Fort Knox. I have to ring a bell to get someone to come to the counter and I don't want to involve the entire office in this. That and I am not sure if I have the guts to just hand it to him. What do I do?

In this book i read, they have perfected bio-engineering as well as computer and robotic technology. Basically they rewire every persons genes to be perfect. they dont change the persons mind, just enhance their physical abilities. Then they wirelessly connect every human mind to a super computer which acts as the government and makes the fairest decisions possible based on the thoughts of every last human being. People in this society are free to do whatever they want except hurt other people. You can think about hurting others, but if you actually attempt to hurt another person the super computer kills you. I think this would be a perfect society and would be the only possible way for the human race to survive. what do you think???

Is it open-minded to evaluate someone based on preconceived ideas or personal stereotypes based on experience, or is it narrow-minded? Is it open-minded to try to keep your personal perceptions in check as you evaluate someone, or is it narrow-minded and naive? The reason for this question is that I witnessed an interview (OK, I eavesdropped) in a restaurant yesterday where a young woman was talking to an older gentleman not of her same ethnic group. She hardly gave him any opportunities to talk, and jumped in and asked other questions before he had a chance to adequately respond. It seemed as though she had made up her mind about him not being a good candidate for whatever position she was interviewing for before he even had a chance to speak. When I related this story to my husband he said that I was the one who was being narrow minded and that the interviewer had it right on the money. Thoughts?

Ok when you are out at someone's house or out with them, whether traveling or just hanging out and they ask you if you want any food or drinks. Do you deny it even though you're hungry and thirsty(at their house)?

Because when I was in the fifth grade I went to disney world with my brother and aunt.

Whenever my aunt asks me if I need to go to the bathroom or get a drink I'd say yes but my brother would hit me and say no.

So I was wondering lol I'm 22 now.

There are times where I overstate things for example I kept thanking my father in law foe helping me with my car and he said you don't have to keep thanking me so much people dont do that,
How can I learn to be quick and to the point and not overstate things so much? Also I always feel the need when I walk into a room that I always have to talk and say something a relative said to me it is OK to be quiet and not always feel the need to always say something. I am very talkative. What are ways as scripture says to season my speech with salt and not overdo it?
