One of the $20 Yankee Candles, a really pretty christmas ornament, a stocking with small items like some tea, peppermint body lotion, chocolates, a fuzzy pair of socks, small candles, a nice travel mug for hot drinks, a Maglight flashlight (I know it's odd, but everyone needs a good flashlight!) A tea for one set. If it's a guy, a really warm cozy pair of socks, a baseball hat from his favorite team, a sweatshirt, a Blockbuster gift card inside a tub of popcorn, again the Maglight. If the guests aren't from your area, maybe a little book about the city or town. Something to connect them to your family to show your hospitality and welcoming. Or find out from your sibling what they like to drink. A bottle of wine or booze is always a hit! Useful, thoughtful (because you had to ask) practical and not too personal.

They have some nice gift baskets at Sam's Club, that range in price from $10-50. I would give a fun gift basket or a giftcard to Starbuck's and I would spend about $20 max.

Wow...3 months?... uhh you arent entitled to get them ANYTHING. I mean maybe if they were dating for a year or two and you felt really close to them but ... no you dont have to get them anything. And if you really want to then nothing too extravagant. A gift card, or a cd that you know they like. The best thing for you to do is to keep it simple because 1...they've been together for 3 months so who knows how much longer they will be together... And ... you dont want to overdue it and get him/her a "better" present then your sibling did

I don't think its really an issue to give your sibling's 3 month old s.o. anything. I mean if you feel you must just give them a little baked goods like a home made bread or cookies. But really strangers need not be given a present and they shouldn't expect one, you might embarass them because they didn't bring you anything.
