...every time during the national anthem, people toot airhorns after certain verses. It drives me nuts. It happens at Flames games, Stamps games, and all over the country it seems.

On the way home tonight, I decided to grab some fast food grub for later. I stopped at Wendy's and ordered two Bacon Cheeseburgers, sour cream and chive baked potato with butter, and a Chicken Caesar Salad. Total came to $10. Upon arriving home, I open my burgers and find that they only have bacon, lettuce and tomato in them -- no BURGER or cheese. Additionally there is no salt/pepper/sourcream/butter. What is the proper way to handle 5hitty service like this?

the pendulum has swung away. will it swing back?

the formal clothing, the (not always sincere) use of manners and titles, and respect as portrayed in earlier times, are they gone for good? or will society eventually tire of 'casual' and 'individual' and return to that era of conformity and uniformity? good or bad?

don't think it will happen? dress-down fridays have come and gone... uniforms are returning to some public schools... you never know.

I know it's supposed to be improper, but it was never explained to me why. In a way it just seems really old-fashioned. What exactly is the purpose behind this rule? Why does it offend people, other than just the fact that it's an etiquitte rule? When is it OK for a man to have his hat on inside a building?

What has happened to good oldfashioned manners, ettiqute, men taking their hats off while in restaurants? While out to dinner with my 11 yr old son last night, I saw 9 grown men with baseball caps on, what happened to the rule of taking them off at the dinner table, especially when at a restaurant? Oh yeah, my son is being taught right, HIS WAS OFF.

Is it correct or acceptable to personally deliver flowers, for example Poinsettias (Christmas season flowers), to a woman at her workplace/ office? Should I call her first before dropping or I could surprisingly stop by and say Hi briefly?

I live in an apartment townhome and my neighbor that resides below me loves to blast her music. It's so loud that I can hear the music loud and clear in my place. My ears start ringing and I get a headache. I've already called the cops once on them and did the same this evening. They seem to turn it down once the cops visit them but within a few days it starts again. I have never approached them about the music. I am just wondering if calling the cops was maybe too drastic or not.

She is being nasty to me and saying that I don't volunteer enough of my time to a fundraising organization that I am a member of. She is the president of the organization. I put a lot of time into helping with the secretarial end of things, but she is mad because I won't help with making phone calls to help find workers for fundraisers, and I can't help at the fundraisers. I've told her that I can't help with the phone calls because I live in another town and the calls are long distance for me, and I haven't been able to work at the fundraisers because I have a full time job PLUS help my husband run his business. I can't afford to take time off work to do volunteer work. My husband suggested that I just quit the organization altogether since it's causing stress and I get nothing out of it. I don't want to quit because I don't know who would take over the duties that I currently do, and I do enjoy helping in the ways that I can. She is treating other members the same way.

I have a gift that I realy and truley want. I don't usualy ask for much but this is something that I feel I want. I will use it a lot and with all the hard work I have put in I feel I truley deserve it. So a person did purchase it for me. Now all I hear from my family and friends is how they have no money for what they want. Now I realy feel bad.

I'm not sure if this person will actually get me something or not. How do I find out if he/she is getting me something? That way, if they do give me a Christmas gift, I'll have something to give in return. I'd prefer if this person didn't get me a gift, but I don't want to end up getting something for them and get nothing in return. The whole purpose of getting him/her a gift would be pointless.

-Neighbor has kids that spit their gum in my drive way, leave their bikes out in the road, and continuously ride out behide my car while parents watch.
-I have confronted them about above.
-I am a wussy about this situation.
-I have a very bad- but controlled temper. I would like to get revenge, but that is absolutely wrong, bad kharma, etc.
