a serious question from me for once, last year our car an 03 vauxhall corsa had its windscreen smashed sitting outside our door in the middle of the night. we have done nothing to upset the locals. i knew when it was done it was because it had english plates (we live in the north of ireland) i said different as not to upset mrs kumkuat, shes english by the way. i have recently found out who it was and why they did it. apparently english people are unwelcome in my estate. so i know who it was i know where they live my big dilemma is they have kids and a partner. i'm in 2 minds whether to put the bastard in casualty or let it go. i'm open to suggestions. its nearly christmas.

I'm in the state of CT and I moved here a few months ago. I've been to a lot of situation wherein people will just walk/cross the street even though their not supposed to and they don't really care that it sometimes hold traffic specially during rush hours. I'm not a fan of using the horn. My boss did it a few months ago and he end up with a big scratch on his car. Apparently, the person has a bike nearby and followed him.

What is the etiquette when it comes to meeting our neighbors? We have been here for a week, I'm wondering if we should go around introducing ourselves or should we leave people alone and let them come to us. I know that they have looked at us but they never speak to us. We worked in the yard all day and no one came to speak. It's a nice neighborhood and very quiet. We are decent people and fit right in in the neighborhood!!!

For years i would stop at the supermarkets and look into their trash and provide myself and the family with most of our food for free. In fact many of the places became aware of me and would delibetrately put the good food aside for me.

I mentioned this to some people that were complaining they were hving a hard time having enough money to buy food. hey condemed me and said I was terrible. No I was not that poor and that is one reason I was not.

you know the type--always talking and jabbering about inane things, gossiping and spreading rumors about people behind their back, being stuck up, snooty and irritating so you just want to snort out a big wad of real sticky snot right on their nice new holiday dress?

like, the urge to yell out "scrotum!!!" during a serious large business meeting, or a religious service? Have you ever been just on the verge of doing so and thought, I might not be able to hold myself back?

Really, on the weekends I like to chill out and shop especially now for the holidays. I go into the store...Do you want this perfume, do you want to touch the neck massager, then the homeless begging, and Salavation Army guy asking for money, and then the mall poll surveyors asking if you want a free movie? I'm not being mean but just COUNT how many times you were harrassed today. And yes, when I come the F****** telemarketer calls. What do you do?

Have you ever seen a guy blow his nose by covering one side and blowing hard, and then doing the other side. This is usually outside I hope. Is this ever acceptable ettiquite? I don't mean just in polite society, but like hanging out in the woods camping or hunting. Honestly I really dont care, but it is the only question I could think of.

ok so i was at work today and suddenlt we started talking about religion, then about americans, this co-worker who is very religious and open minded said she does not know why people get mad when there are other races in america because everyone that lives, moves to america is american, i told her i disagree, i told her i only consider whites (causcasian ) americans(unless they have moved from russia ,etc.. i said this because i am cuban and i consider myself hispanic, i am an american citizen, but i dont consider myself american, and i do not consider other races americans other than the white, the woman called me a skin head and went around telling people i work with about this, she said it offended her,.but she is not a minority and my black friends do not consider themselves americans either, they say they are african americans, or just african.. so what do you think, i mean in cuba you are not considered cuban even if youn have a citizen ship unless you are actually born there

I'm a bartender and my ex-boyfriend came into my bar with my best friend. This made me unreasonably upset. I went to the back and started crying. While I was in the back I saw a vial of visine. It gave me an idea. I put some in both of their drinks. A half our later my best friend crapped her pants. I laughed my butt off. I this wrong?

I saw this woman in brand new BMW, she made a left and hit a van, and then she backed up and crushed a police officer's motorcycle, ALL WHILE SHE WAS ON A CELL all the time. She never got out of her car to ask if anyone was all right or what happened? Is she cold and heartless, and should she drive again, because she could hurt someone and not feel any guilt?

My office is at ground level and has full length windows that face the sidewalk. Smokers in the building where I work (but they're not from our agency) stand out on the sidewalk to smoke because the building is smoke free. Unfortunately, they stand and lean right up against my window. Frequently I can actually hear what they are saying, am startled by their laughter, and distracted by their gesturing during conversation. How can I shoo them away without being a witch?

Am not kidding. When some folks accidentally meet ill-luck, they bemusedly smile at whoever saw them.
a person slips and falls down accidentally, they look around and smile stupidly at whoever saw them fall.
-strong wind blows and exposes a decent lady's undies, she smiles at you.
-a respected gentleman scratches a troublesome itch in his ***, he turns to you and smiles.
-you accidentally run into somebody making love to your sweetie, they are all smiles when they see you.
-a loud fart, accidentally escapes the chairperson of a committee, he smiles at all members.

Are you supposed to return the awkward smile?
It cant be out of embarassment, unless they take you to be an idiot!
