A rude answer is worse. A stupid question is often asked because the person doesn't know any better. (I am not talking about Yahoo Answers, where many people ask stupid questions on purpose.)

To me is a rude answer, a question is a question and I don't call them stupid, people just ask and that is what this board is here for, but when someone answer rude, that's a different story, I don't ask too many questions, all I do is answer but I always answer nicely, as intelligent people do..☺

A stupid question is forgivable. He/she could've not been in the mood, not thinking straight, too tired, or just dull-witted.
As opposed to a rude answer, his/her intention was to piss off the person. It's a gesture of belittling someone whatever that answer is.
So, I find the rude answer worse.

Everyone knows how to respect people and if they choose not to then thats stupid.
Everyone knows how to find the answer to a question. (by asking) and it would be stupid not to ask and just go on with life not knowing the answer.

it varies- a stupid question can be either harmless fun or is just downright stupid. a rude answer where a person uses derogatory language and is being abusive or offensive, particuarly to other people is just not on whatsoever
but both are terrible, one way or the other

***A RUDE ANSWER*** It takes thought to come up with a response to a question. If the question is inappropriate or stupid...skip it or report it. But people that stew and have to stoop to the level of the dimwitted 'asker' are worse.

I hate stupid questions. But to me i absolutly hate rude answers. Some are discusting, others are offensive. I have no idea why these people would leave such answers.

Who cares about worst. It's the best that is important. And this answer is the best!
In general, funny, clever, light hearted questions and answers are the best.
If you really want information, go other legitimate information sources.
