I typed the title to my previous question in capital letters because 1- It's a title. 2- I wanted it to stand out.
A red coloured message told me not to do that, it's rude...
You've got to laugh.
What if I THINK writing in red is rude? ;-)

I am not a wine drinker but the host of the Christmas Party is. What is a good bottle of wine that is not too expensive to bring as a hostess gift?

I purchased my boss two gifts which I know he'll like but don't expect him to buy me one.

How about you?

For your parents and siblings?
Your significant other?
Extended family you don't know very well?
Good friends?
Acquaintances?

I see these commercials to buy things like laptops and digital camcorders as holiday gifts for people and it makes me clutch my chest. Okay, I'm cheap and I know it, but that seems WAY out of line. On the other hand, I'd have to smack myself if I gave my mom a box of chocolates.

So, what's considered appropriate?

Not all the time of course. THey are excited new mothers and I am happy for the new things in their lives. I am also a big part of their kids lives: throw them showers, babysit, etc. But once in a while I need my old friends as friends, not moms, especially because I don't have any of my own. This goes with my inlaws too, who are obessed with my huband's sisters toddler.

Some people consider impolite to have their name and amount of money print it on a annual appeal report. They claim that it is pretencious from the people who do it. If giving it it's better to do it anonymously...

I find myself spending many random nights at peoples houses for random reasons. What code of conduct is expected for masturbatory regulations? Only in the shower? Not at all? Free range?

A friend of mine, as a joke, got an empty picture wall frame and hung it next to his muslim roommate's room with a text insert inside that said "picture of mohammed".

I have known this girl for a year and a half. Last November, she introduced me to her mom, who is now like a sister to me. I invited both of them to our Christmas party, and now my husband is worried. He doesn't think our 20-22 year old friends will be comfortable around a 45 year old woman. I understand where he's coming from, and don't want anyone to feel awkward (one of his friends has a girlfriend who's still in hs, it would be to her like having a mom present). Should I ask my friend not to come? She's really nice, and I'm sure she would understand, but I just don't know what to do.

My friend did not invite me to a Hoilday party. We have known eachother for almost two years now. She invited another friend but did not invite me. She also talked about the party in my presence. I invite her out to dinner with my family and to parties. I even invited her to go on vacation to the east coast with my family and I during winter break. But, she had to work so, she is not going. She told me she got me a present for the holidays. However, I do not feel the present cuts it because I feel angry regarding not inviting me to the party. But, I feel angier regarding her talking about the party in my presence. Do I have a right to feel angry? Was this rude?

Does anyone tip when you go to a sit down restaurant to pick up food to go? How much?

Should people tip when a delivery place charges for delivery? How much? I feel resentful about tipping when I already got charged for the delivery guy to come out.

I was at a football viewing party with some "friends"...about 6 or 7 people.I met them 14 weeks ago at a bar on opening day of football season. I was the only AfricanAmerican there. A black ball player dropped the ball. We all let out groans of disappointment. One guy blurts out the N-word. It was ponderous. I never met anyone that had their verbal reflexes hot-wired to say "******" when ever a black football drops a ball. . . F-ing Ponderous.

1.But, what would you have done?
2.What would you expect out of your "friends".
3.Would this disturb you? How long would this disturb you

Sex and Toy shop (a whip and a leather paddle). Well, I intend to use these with my friend but don't really know how she will react when I show her. We have not been physically involved yet but she is always spanking me on my a** even in public and this is a very big turn on for me and she knows this. I can't wait till she uses what I purchased. I'm a female. What should I do and how should I approach her w/ these items!

I am a male and consider myself very clean, considerate and most of the time not even home because i am working and going to school. So, don't understand. If i had to say that any female roommates i have had are the worst. Drama, messy, always using the restroom etc. Guys generally are not that, maybe messy.

My ex's mom sent me a Christmas card, and I'm debating about sending one back. Her Card was a letter stating that her husband has glaucoma, and she has Breast Cancer (see my other questions). Would it be rude not to send her a Christmas Card in return merely stating that I'm keeping them in my thoughts and prayers? I don't want it to be taken as an invitation to get their son (the dreaded ex boyfriend from hades) back into my life. Opinions?

When i get into an argument with someone even if i am right i get very nervous and i lose my breath and lose my voice sometimes and i end up giving up all the time. for example there was a mistake in the hospital bill the other day and i was trying to explain that to the financial department and she got mad and yelled at me so i was able to tell her “please do not” --then i lose my voice for about a min or 2 and then i got it back and i said” talk to me that way” and then she “said you are not understanding” so i told her “no there is a problem with the totals they do not add up” and then she told me “no you are wrong” and i wanted to argue to prove me point but i lost my breath and i ended up saying ok and just paying for the whole thing which is wrong. This happens of course more when i am face to face with someone and it is worse. My face starts to shake specially my lips. What do you think i can do to avoid or reduce that? I do not know if people notice it and I do not want them to and I do not want them to abuse it.

This generally happens during the course of the workday. I realize this seems strange, but why does it mesmerize me. I find myself drifting off and envisioning us in different scenarios. I enjoy playing with my girlfriends feet especially after she has either worked out or finished a shift at her job. Why is the scent an aphrodisiac. Am I what they call a deviant or is this natural. I particularly am attracted to stockings and heels. I don't really know why. It helps to get feedback from women. It's good therapy. I'm looking for honest answers. Don't worry about hurting my feelings. I can't even explain it to my girlfriend. It took me months to talk her into letting me touch her feet.

My husband and one of his co workers are constantly playing practical jokes on each other. the other day one of the new people at the place where my husband works asked him what bathroom he uses- my husband was confused but later found out that the co worker that's always playing jokes had told her that my husband was a transexual that was born a female. My husband doesnt seem bothered by it- he says they just play jokes like that all the time but I'm seriously offended FOR my husband. I think that one was too far. Am I correct in feeling this way?

Dont you hate it when someone next to you is breathing through their nose like really hard to where you can hear it? I'm in the library on the computer right now and this guy who smells of cigarettes and is wearing a Mickey's t-shirt is breathing through his nose real loud. It's so obnoxious! Why do people do this?
