My husband and one of his co workers are constantly playing practical jokes on each other. the other day one of the new people at the place where my husband works asked him what bathroom he uses- my husband was confused but later found out that the co worker that's always playing jokes had told her that my husband was a transexual that was born a female. My husband doesnt seem bothered by it- he says they just play jokes like that all the time but I'm seriously offended FOR my husband. I think that one was too far. Am I correct in feeling this way?

I never said I was going to go to his job or say anything. I'm just a little bit hurt by it- I would be really offended and I feel bad for my husband that it happened.

It's funny. As long as the new person was eventually let in on the joke.
If your husband isn't offended by it, don't worry about it.

I would let it go and stay out of it. It would be one thing if your husband was offended by it but you said he is not bothered by it and its just in good fun so let it be. Dont make a mountain out of a molehill. Some people have different ideas on what is funny and what isnt. You didnt say your age or your husbands age but it does sound pretty immature to me. But at the same time some people have different ideas on what is funny and what isnt. It's normal for you to be offended because that is your husband and if someone offends him you will most likely feel offended too. But just laugh it off with him for now. It's not a big deal.

You know how they say children are cruel to other kids? Well men get off on torturing each other, and I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that they don't grow up. I understand that you feel outraged for your husband. My whole family can't stand my boyfriend, he can be a bit of a hyperactive twit sometimes, but he's a really good guy, and they are always torturing him, saying rude things, screwing around with his car, which is his baby, and even call him gay all the time. He ignores it but it really pisses me off. Especially the "gay" stuff. I've dated a gay guy before he came out of the closet, and my boyfriend is DEFINITELY NOT gay.
Frankly, I feel more bad for the woman involved because it put her in a confusing situation, she will now probably not trust the other co-worker, and maybe even your husband, and she may be so offended that she'll quit. If you MUST do something, tell your husband that if the two of them have to torture each other, to leave other co-workers out of it, especially new ones!

That is funny, as long as the new person was let in on the joke soon after, I feel sorry for her, not your husband. In a former job a friend and I pulled jokes on one another and it made the work place better and more enjoyable. It is always tricky in that it can go over the edge and offend someone, but as long as you keep it funny I am all for it. I might try that one here (Just Kidding)

Guys have done this sort of thing for centuries and for us it's hilarious when we can pull one off on a friend. If he's got the thick skin for this sort of thing then I would not worry. As long as no one is harmed physically then I feel practical jokes are one method of getting through what might otherwise be a dreary day.

It's more humiliating for a wife to get offended for the husband than to just leave it alone. He can handle the situation. Wives need to stay out of hubby's work stuff.

No. Its a little foolish to be offended for someone else, regardless of the circumstances. Lighten up, your husband will even the score on the playing field. :^)

Wow, i could be a sprint nervous, too. no one ever calls my husband from his artwork after 5:00 or sends text fabric messages. He seems to have the skill to cover issues from you in case you in basic terms found out approximately this female. My husband had a fine looking female working for him and he instructed me the day she have been given employed. each guy gawks at her, yet i know extra suitable. Why might she experience the might desire to tell him she lives on my own if no longer something is going on?

You can feel that way, but keep in mind that your husband probably feels the same, but isn't showing it, preferring for a tasty bit if revenge to speak for him
