Hey I hear you are having a house party. Got a band set up yet?

Or how about, "Hey, I hear you're having a party, and if you need live entertainment, I can give you a great price." Make sure also to offer them a demo so they can check you out. Even if they don't use you, having your demo might bring in a recommendation in the future.

Don't ... they know you have a band so if they liked your music they would have asked you .... you will just end up looking desperate. Sorry to sound blunt!

You ask it like
Hey I heard your having a party. Can I play in it?
But act really cool and calm.
