I know a guy who will not use a public mens' room. He came with me and some friends to do some Christmas shopping last week. When we stopped to get gas and snacks at a convenience store, he urinated around the back of the building- outdoors where passersby could see him! We all found it disgusting and revolting that he would pull such a stunt- after all, there were clean restrooms both at the store and at the mall where we'd been. He simply said, "I don't like using the mens' room." According to one of my pals, he does that a lot, and it's the same excuse every time. Why???

He's afraid of the mens room obviously. Maybe something horrible happens in a public restroom to him before. I don't know, but I do think its strange. I think if its a real issue with you, you should avoid hanging out with him in public.

Possibly an unhealed abusive incident which happened in a public bathroom. Possible Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in regard to germs. Hint: Take up a collection and give him a gift certificate to a really good behavioral therapist.

It could be an abuse issue but also some people just don't like using
the bath rooms after people they don't know.
It is a phobia..

Maybe he finds being around men expelling their bodily waste arousing and the subsequent erection embarrassing.

i agree with woman of faith...perhaps something tragic happened to him in a men's room as a child, like molestation or something...or he could be claustrophobic (spelling?).
