Dropped a set of his beeds into our pond outside that have goldfish in it. He is NOT allowed to do any of these things and knows that I am really upset. He is really acting out and I have no idea what to do. Sometimes his manners are so great and he is such an angel then he wants attention so bad it is like he will do anything to get it. What can I do? I made a behavior chart and started it today. But has anyone else's child done the outside thing? I am so grossed out. To top it off... my dog was eating the poo... ARGHHHHHHH! SICK!

My little nephew is such a sweetheart but just won't let anyone near his hair to cut it, so it is getting long and messy! What advice does anyone have to stop all the crying fits every time anyone goes near his hair - with anything, not just scissors! They have tried bribery but to no avail!

My toddler is 17 months. I had planned to take her off the bottle 5 days ago. I threw away 2 of her bottles leaving her with 3 left so i dont get so tempted.

That day i didnt give her any bottles. I only gave her the sippy cups. She cried so much & pushed away all the sippys. After 10 min of crying she grabbed the sippy & drank a little bit out of it than set it bak down. She was crying the whole day for her bottle. During the evening, her head started to feel really hot & her body too. Im guessing she got a fever. So could all that cryin cause a fever?

Her head & body would feel hot wen she wakes up in the morning. after i give her medicine, she feels warm. this had been goin on for 3 days. Now wen she wakes up her head has just been feelinf warm.

So wat should i do? Should i continue to give her the bottle or try to get her off it. I didnt want to let her cry so much wen she had her fever so i gave her the bottles back.

My sister said she was a sneaky one.. lol

I have always kept a pretty good routine and then a few nights ago he started jumping out of his bed and running around the house laughing. (like it is a game) I would keep calm and put him in bed over and over again like people say and he would just throw a fit and do it over and over again. As most parents know this is so frustrating. I have managed to keep my cool but I don't know how much longer. Oh and by the way a gate is not going to work because he will find a way to climb right over it if he feels like it. (strong willed) I also have told him he does not have to go to sleep he just has to stay in his bed and usually it worked, but not now. Why do you think he would start doing this? How do I fix this problem. I don't want this to start going on every night, is he just testing me to see if I get angry. Should I get angry? Or do you think this will make him think it is even funnier.? I am a pretty calm with him most of the time, is this how he learns what makes mommy tick?

At what age did your child move out the cot into a big bed? My youngest is 3 and still as content as can be in his cot, whereas the other two were out about age 2 years. I think I'm quite happy to keep things as they are for as long as possible! He's making no attempts to climb out and even when on holiday and he slept in a bottom bunk, he came home and went back to his cot as if he'd never been away. I thought he'd kick up a fuss then but I'm pleased the way it went!

I'm 21 years old, married to an Air Force Snr. Airman and we have 2 children of our own. I just recently quit my job as a server because we don't make squat and it takes too much time away from my family so since I take care of my own kids all day long, I decided maybe I could help out other people by watching their children at a good cost- since we know how hard it is to find decent, unexpensive childcare.
What should I consider and what will I need before starting this?? I would like to babysit no more than 4 children, 6 including my own.
I want to be able to provide breakfast, lunch and snacks so I will want to consider costs for that. Any other ideas/ advice? Any advice from experience in-home daycare providers would be awesome as well!! Thanks so much! ;)

They look like uncircumsized penises, and I can't believe that the senseless burbling as a language they do (and Telletubies fall into this as well) is considered educational for children. And as long as I've mentioned Telletubies, the baby in the sun is just terrifying. IF I had kids, these shows (along with Barney) would be banned and I would even make sure the day care I used didn't let kids watch it.

She refuses to eat anything. I just figred it would pass but it hasn't. I go along the rule of she will eat when she's hungry but 2 days of not eating bugs me. What should I do?
