You can take the baby of the bottle anywhere from 12mths old as they can then go to cows mik and you can wean them to a sippy cup. No longer than 2years on a bottle as it will damage their teeth in the long run. Especially if you let them have it during the night when the milk sits on their teeth and decays them. As for the potty training. Boys as a general rule probably aren't ready before 2years, more like 2.5yrs. Some will train earlier like most girls, but from past experience with my boy and girlfriends boys and my nephews, none were fully toilet trained before 2 years and night trained anywhere from 3years usually. Wait until you have all the signs of being ready and then try as it will not work if he is not ready. You' ll just be doing heaps of washing and cleaning the carpets.
good luck

Most babies are taken off the bottle at a year old and usually around 2 is a good time to potty train. It does depend on the kid though. Some kids are ready to potty train earlier and some later. When they are noticing that they are wet is usually a good time and they should be showing interest in the potty chair. As far as the bottle the easiest way to switch over is to start substituting a sippy cup for say a lunch time bottle. And then start offfering sippy at dinner, then breakfast etc...

I took my kids off the bottle at a year old. Once they reach one years old they need more nutrients then formula alone can give them. A bottle once in a while is ok but if you get in the habit of making it a night time ritual they wont sleep through the night they will be waking up just for that bottle even thou they dont need it. As for potty training I started that at about 2 just having the potty chair around talking to them about it letting them come in the bathroom and just sitting on it while I would use the bathroom. But dont push it to hard when your child is ready he will do it.

My grandson has been potty trained since he was about 22 months old. He showed definite signs. He would touch his diaper when he was wetting and he would go and hide behind the couch to do his big job. He is still on the sippy and he tells me when he has to pee. LOL, it sounds like he's saying please, but he pats his pants at the same time, that is how I know for sure.
What I did was introduce him to the potty, he sat on it with his clothes on and then I started to put him on it when we were towelling off after a bath. Then I caught him peeing in the tub one day and popped him on the pot. He was quite upset, but I made a huge fuss over it and he started to want to pee in the pot. I had a bunch of little rewards for him (believe it or not, stickers work at this age, even if they just wreck them or crumple them up, he was quite fascinated by the foil ones.) The big job took a while, but what I did for that was wait till he got established with peeing, then when he had that figured I let him go without pull-ups or underwear, it didn't take him long to figure out that that had to be done in the toilet as well. He isn't night trained, but this doesn't surprise me. Little boys are harder to keep dry at night.

1 yr 9months is a little early to start potty training - especially with a boy. I would wait a few more months for that (if you start too early with potty training it can take even longer, they will let you know when they are ready to start).
With the bottle, I would start giving him a sippy cup with meals and only using the bottle for bed time and then gradually work that out as well. And you can start that now. I was lucky, my son never got too attached to a bottle so it was easy to wean him.

It's easy to go from bottle to Sippy Cup right now. Boys potty train much later then girls. Some as late as 3 yrs old. But you start anytime.

My daughter was completely off the bottle at 16 months, although it probably could've been a bit sooner. My daughter just got the hang of potty training, and she just turned 3 years.

I took my daughter of the bottle at nine months, and gave her a sippy cup. She has just turned one.
Not sure on the potty training, put I would not try to do both at the same time.
Do bottle first!

My kids were off the bottle (except night time bottle) at 12-14 months. Then completely off at 16 months.
