O.K. So my son in just over 3 years old, Potty training was going great, he would use his potty several times a day and sometimes he would just go on his own. But then we moved and it threw him all out of wack. He stopped completly, didn't even want to wear pull ups. So now we are back at square one. But this time he is not interested at all. I take him to the potty when I go and he sits on his potty but does nothing. I've tried giving him water and bribe him with things so that he will go, even bought childs books and videos for him to watch about going and nothing seems to work. We have been in our new house 3 months now. Should I just wait it out and try again later...any other suggestion?

When I tell him to get his thumb out of his mouth he smiles and laughs and says just kidding. He is probably going to need braces whether he stops now or not but what would be a good way to get his to stop? Or will I be able to get him to stop? Does he have to do it on his own?

My baby just turned 1, and he goes down fine at bedtime, but then he wakes up at 12 or 12:30 and stays up for 1-2 hours. This is probably 3 nights a week. I am exhausted. Yes, I check his diaper and rock him and hold him and nurse him (probably part of the problem itself), and nothing helps. We have a dr. appointment on Tuesday for the 1-year check-up and I'll bring it up there, but I was wondering if anybody else survived this.

I just picked up a FP soothing ocean toy for his crib. It soothed him at lunchtime--a mac and cheese eating cherub was he!--and I hope it will help him at night too.

I really need some constructive ideas, particularly what to do besides going into his room and doing what seems natural (comfort him, or try to). Thanks so much.

My son is able to say words he just will not he even signs some words but still we have to ask over and over and over again before he will say what he wants. He would reather just point and wine and hope he gets what he wants. Should I be worried about that or is this normal for first children?

I have followed the instructions but just wanted to know if there is any danger to her if we leave it on overnight. Its supposedly okay for 48 hours, she is 2 and her room is about 3m by 2m. We will keep her door open. Worried parent - over anxious typically

We have tried everything--rewards, all positive reinforcement techniques and still he refuses. He asks for his underwear and says he is going to go hide when he has to go. His doctor's appointment isn't until 2/3 so I have to wait until then to talk to him about it. If anyone can help I am open to all advice! THANKS!

My son will be 22 months old next week. While his vocabulary is good (he says around 75 words), he isn't linking them together, such as "cracker please" or "go outside." I've already consulted with his pediatrician as well as a friend who works with children with speech delays. I won't tell you what they said becasue I'm curious about the opinions of other moms/dads on this. Thanks!

My daughter is 2 and woke up vomiting in her crib, she has vomited 3 times since. She is running a fever of 38.8 as well. I gave her Gravol about an hour ago and am wondering if it is too soon to give Tylenol for the fever.

My girls will be 2 and 3 in April. They pick up their toys but I have a hard time getting them to do so. I usually have to tell them 3 or 4 times before they even attempt to put something away. Does this ever end?

Hi all, he's turning 19 months. It has happened twice now where he wakes up and cries uncontrollably for no reason. He used to wake up in a good mood all the time. Could this be the start of the "temper tantrum" stage?
