she was toilet trained approx. 5 months ago, and was doing great. but over the last 3 weeks shes started weeing herself 2-3 times a day which is frustrating. All though she is still going on the toilet sometimes.i ask her regularly if she needs to use it and she says no.she can be stood next to her potty or the toilet and she just stands there and wees herself.how should i handle this? i admit i have raised my voice on a few occasions asking her why she didn,t tell me. i know this could make it worse, and i am trying to ignore it, but it,s hard. she is very stubbern and strong willed, do you think it is just a phase? she is soon going to be starting in a day nursery, and i don,t know what to do?

I am so confused. My family thinks its okay for me to spank my son but my husband's family gets mad when I spank him. I don't beat him or anything, just a smack on the but or leg. I don't even do it very often because most of the time he just laughs at me or my husband when we do it. Time outs are a little better discipline for him but we are not always able to use it when we are out and about. What is your take on this? I feel like I am in a tug of war and I don't get to decide how to raise my son.

I got my 28 month-old daughter potty trained using the no-diaper method. Soooo... now when I try to put her "big girl" training panties on her she just takes them right back off. Also, I don't think she understands that she's not supposed to go pee-pee in them... even though I tell her not too. I want her to learn that she needs to call mommy or daddy and pull her panties down and sit on the potty. I'm running out of ideas on how to get her to do this. HELP!!! :-)

my 3 year toddler has been potty trained since 2 1/2 years old. but in the past 3 weeks she has been asking to go pee pee 5-6 times before going to bed. first time she'll pee a little. 10 minutes later she'll have a little more. 5 minutes later, she'll say she got to go again but nothing comes out. 10 minutes later she'll say she have to go again but since i got there late she had an accident.

she'll pee 5-6 times to before finally going to bed. my spouse and i think that she is trying to delay going to bed. but if we ignore here request to the bathroom she'll have an accident.

she is potty trained during the day. at night she'll wake up and would go potty with no problems. my problem is the hour before she finally falls asleep.

My daughter is 14 months old and I'm doing some major weaning. My first daughter was easy to wean, but this girl, yikes, she is persistant and she knows what she wants. I am ready to be done breastfeeding, but after two painful attempts, I'm hesistant. She's down to a BIG morning feeding (at 5:30) and a small-medium bedtime feeding. My family, friends, and even the doctor say it's time. When did you stop and how did you do it? Did it make sleeping through the night easier? It's amazing how different kids can be!

My 18 month old son got the shots mentioned above yesterday and today has fell down with a fever of between 101 and 102. I called two different clinics who say it is most likely due to his shots, but is a little early for a fever to show. They don't want me to bring him in unless his fever is over 105 or has lasted longer than 72 hours. I've been giving him tylenol on a regular basis to help keep his fever down, but he's so miserable. I'm keep a cool cloth on him, and pushing the fluids, but he's still fussy and really uncomfortable. He's been laying on my husband trying to sleep for nearly 3 hours but can't because of his fever. He fusses and won't eat. How long will this last? The E.R. nurses basically said they didn't want to see him, but I sort of think I should bring him in anyway. What do you think? Will the fever break and I'm just worrying too much? He's never really been sick before so it's torturing me more than him I think.

To make matters worse he complains everytime she crys if he is watching tv or even if he is in the same room with her. Don't get me wrong the only thing he likes to do is play with her but when she starts to cry he yells for me to come get her from him cause he doesn't know how to get her to stop... I am just overwhelmed and tired I would like for him to help me with her a little more just so I can get a little relax time to myself I feel I deserve it... please help....

My daughter is 27 months old. I need to give her some Tylenol for her cold, but I'm unsure if it's better to give her Infant Tylenol or Children's Tylenol. The Infant Tylenol label gives dosing information for children up to age 3 and many of the Children's Tylenol gives dosing information for children ages 2-6. Should she receive infant or children's medicine? I'll call the pediatrician tomorrow, but I'd like to know now what experienced parents suggest.

My oldest will be starting preschool this year. She is so excited about it and talks about school constantly. Every day she asks me "When do I goto school mommy?". I don't tell her but it breaks my heart everytime I hear that. I know my bbay is getting bigger and that she preschool will be good for her. My question is, what do I do to keep myself from going insane? I know it will probably only get worse when she actually starts school. Any tips to help me ease into the fact that she will be in preschool?
