My nephew stuck a marble up his nose once. We had him blow his nose and it came right out.
Depending on your child's age DO NOT blow in their mouth it could produce to much air in their lungs and kill them.

I would call the the doctor if it doesn't come out by blowing their nose~ you don't want them to get an infection or obstruct their breathing! I ve had a child in my class stick a hearing aid battery and a hair bead up their nose not while in school lol.... What fun

You know those red berries that are on bushes? My brother stuck one of those up his nose and it took my Mom forever to figure it out. The doctor actually had to get it out because it was too far up there. The doctor is going to have to get the kernel out of your child's nose, but he'll be ok. If he's not able to "blow" it out, perhaps you can twist up a kleenex and kind of tickle his nose with it to get him to sneeze. Other than that, there really isn't much you can do.

The day we brought our last baby home from the hospital, our next oldest son (4) stuck a little rock up his nose. My husband was able to get it with tweezers while I held the flashlight.
If you cant see it up there with a flashlight then you'll definatly need to have the doctor perform a popcorn kernelectomy.
Who knows why kids do things like that. I hope everything goes well and it comes out with ease.
Good luck!

That's one I haven't seen yet. I work in a day care and we have seen many things go up noses and into mouths. My sister for some reason when she was younger put everything that would fit into her nose. One time she managed to get a gem from a bubble gum machine ring in her nose. My mom took her to the ER, had to wait for 3 hrs, and as soon as the doctor walked in she sneezed and it came out.

AND beans in the ears, bananas up..well you know, bubble gum in nose, ears, hair, etc., it's kid stuff and mostly harmless.
small stuff up the nose will usually come out when you have them blow their nose. Ears are a different story. If you cannot grasp the object WITH YOUR FINGERS or flush it out with water, then take child to doctor for professional removal.

My son put a bead in his nose last week. I had him blow into a kleenex like if he were blowing out snot and then I pulled it out with tweezers. But if you can't see it then it is best to take him to the doctor. But don't worry. Kids do things like this all the time. :)

Little kids will stick anything up their nose. Try this: push the unobstructed nostril shut with your finger, blow into your child's mouth. Duck - because it will probably come shooting out!

No but my brother in law stuck a bean up his nose when he was little and my in laws didnt realize it until it literally started to sprout, so i wouldnt worry too much. If the dr doesnt seem worried, go in at 2, they will prolly go up with tweezers or something and get it out...good luck
