with kids in daycare setting, what would be some wonderful selling points I could put in a brochure.. what i'm wanting to do is take on 4 daycares *different one a day* and teach 2-3 yr old baby ballet, tap, batom - then have 4-5 yr old class then 6 - up (if they have afterschool care) basically I would go to daycare to teach and the parents would just give me the check for $40.00 a month for 4 lessons a month anyone having any ideas on marketing this -- I am certified and all that to teach and LOVE teaching that age and skill level---

This is not the same as a hefflelump from the pooh movie. I was wondering if anyone could help me locate this toy and a place to purchase this.

I have tried and tried to get my son potty trained before he starts school in August, but he will do it for a week and then stops. He doesn't ask to go to the potty when he is out with my parents or at the babysitters, he only goes when i am around but i have to keep asking him.

My daughter is 2 & a half yrs old & i have a 5 point harness carseat for my daughter & it holds up to 80 lbs, she is 32 lbs & 36 inches tall, she is starting to get too tall to use the 5 point harness seat belt in the carseat, there is hooks on the carseat for the regular seat belts in the car, is she still too young or small to start useing the bigger seat belts while shes still in her carseat? plus my Sister-in-law has been babysitting my daughter & i give her the carseat for her car, while she has my daughter, well she told me that she put my daughter in her 8 yr old daughters booster carseat which has no back to it, i got upset, because i think my daughter is too young for a booster carseat, i feel safer with my daughter being in a 5 point harness carseat for now, shes is starting to get too tall for the 5 point harness strapes in her carseat, so would it be ok strape her in her carseat with the seat belts to the car, or should i wait til next year? she'll be 3 in september!

My 4 yr old daughters are so sweet most of the time, but in public situations they have a tendency to freak out. Like in church, we have had to chase them up and down the aisles in the middle of a service. In the library they can be quiet, but the minute one of them starts to get loud the other joins in. Some people have told me that they just need to be disiplined, but I do that on a regular basis with time outs. I have had help from speech therapists and behavioral therapists, but they seem to behave better in such a setting. I'm afraid they will need medication, or should I question my mothering abilities in regards to discipline. It seems that teaching a child not to run around during a church service would be an easy thing to do. Hey, try chasing two children going in different directions, wearing heels. I've stopped wearing heels for that very reason. Running shoes to chruch. It's come to that. I don't want to stop going to church.

My son who is turning 4 this month has quite a stutter. I'm wondering if this is common, and how long until he outgrows it. And when should I be concerned enough to contact a speech therapist?

My son is only 3 - and I don't plan on having him attend school until kindergarten.....he knows alot already so I don't see the need of putting him in a preschool right now. Plus he has several play groups and does great with other kids. I'm just worried about sending him to school....this is my first child!! Is this normal? There is just so much to worry about nowadays!!

He loves hairdo's, dolls , skirts, my shoes etc. My mother encourages it (buys him my pretty ponys) which angers my husband who forbids it. I'm kind of in the middle, I don't buy him girl toys, but if he picks one up I don't freak out. He has been doing this for well over a year now. At first we thought it was a funny phase he was going thru, now I'm wondering if this is abnormal behavior for a 4 year old and if I should be concerned.

My husband and I are very affectionate with him - we like to cuddle with him and he usually sleeps with us. I wonder if this has anything to do with it.

I feel clueless all the time. I don't know what I am supposed to be doing with them. I thought it was so easy with Gavin when he was a baby but now I have two. Gav is almost 3 and my daughter is 15 months. I feel like I am letting them down as a mom. I see other moms whose kids are smarter and seem happier and can't help but wonder what the hell am I doing wrong and what can I do to be better. I just feel so lost now that they are getting older. I don't know what games I should be playing, how often I should read, how soon they need to be potty trained. I need someone to teach me. I am terrified for me and them. I thought this would come naturally to me and its not. Does anyone else feel this way? Is it all me? What can I do?

How do you keep your 23 month old from beating on your 11 month old??? Spankings don't seem to work, asking him nicely doesn't either.

My son is almost 3 and you can not make out hardly any words that he says. I have been reading to him his whole life. I have been making him slow down and say the whole sentence word at a time to ask me something but once I tell him to say it all at once it comes out a big mumble of a word. I do not know what to do. Has any one else had this problem and what do you do to help?
