#2 egg yolk may be given mashed at 8-12 months

#3 whole eggs and whites should not be given before one year

I believe it's about 8 mo. You're supposed to start with the egg yolk first, as it's the egg white that causes any allergic reactions. I think after a year, it's ok with the egg whites; but my daughter has been eating scrambled eggs (the whole egg) since about 8 months also.

If you or kids have history of food allergies, take it slow to be able to watch for any reaction.

You could start as early as 7 months with mashed hard boiled egg yolk, just about 1 or 2 teaspoons. I used to add a little to cereal. Egg white can be added when your baby is one year of age.

They can only have the white part of the egg after the age of one and see if it affects the childs diet or they have an allergy.

I read in Parenting Magazine that infants can eat eggs as early as 6 months. I started giving my son scrambled eggs when he was about 8-9 months, then we gave him hard boiled eggs. He's doing pretty good with them. If you are concerned about allergies, please call and speak with your pediatrician. Good luck to you, and have a great day!
