with kids in daycare setting, what would be some wonderful selling points I could put in a brochure.. what i'm wanting to do is take on 4 daycares *different one a day* and teach 2-3 yr old baby ballet, tap, batom - then have 4-5 yr old class then 6 - up (if they have afterschool care) basically I would go to daycare to teach and the parents would just give me the check for $40.00 a month for 4 lessons a month anyone having any ideas on marketing this -- I am certified and all that to teach and LOVE teaching that age and skill level---

Just print up some nice, informative flyers and leave them at the daycares you want to service. Make sure you give them good contact information in case people have questions. I would also suggest having a recital ~ if you haven't planned that already ~ even if it's just a small one at the daycare. Parents want to see what they've learned. This is how my kids started dance and karate. It's great because I didn't have to take them anywhere, and they still got to participate in "extra" activities. They've transitioned nicely into more formal settings now, and what they learned in the daycare programs gave them a nice headstart.

I think $40 is reasonable, but you might consider a discount for siblings. Our boys' karate lessons were $32 for one and $48 for two, so we got a nice price break.

I love your idea of going to the day care to teach the children but you have to understand that the parents are already paying at least $700.00 a month for their child to go to day care and the rates are going up. most parents don't need the extra cost. but if you lower your price to $20.00 a month you will still make alot of money and you will get the chance to work with children. I would try the bigger day cares before the little ones and you might want to go before you try to put any thing together right now because some states have stupid things you have to do before you are able to teach children anything!!! Go to the biggest day care around you and ask if they know if there are any rules or fees your have to get past before you can teach the children. Good Luck and what state are you in i might consider your class for my daughter!!!

Wonderful! But I don't think Yahoo! Answers is a great place to advertise.
