I have tried everything! Time outs, nakedness, underwear, potty seat, toilet seat, taking toys away, giving rewards, setting the timer for every 30 minutes, sticker posters, chuckie cheese rewards, ice cream rewards, taken away cartoons, etc. My son will be 4 in September and he will go sometimes, but usually he says, "Mom, did I pee? Am I getting a time out?" Does he really not feel the sensation, or is he playing with his mom?

Of course it's my son. On occassions he's nice, but for the most part, he takes everything from her and says NO and holds it up high. Sometimes he will even take things out of her hands. I know this is normal behavior, but I feel like more and more I am being called from whatever I'm doing to stop the yelling.

What tips can anyone out there give me to get through this phase (will it even ever end? LOL!)

Let me tell you what I've done: I let him have his "cars and trucks" and kept those off limits from my daughter; and encouraged him to share everything else - my thinking: so that he has *some* control over his toys. BTW - she does have hand-me down toys and new toys of her own.

I think for me it is a toss up between Elmo's world and Blues Clues, with Dora following close behind. I can't stand Elmo's voice and Blue's little squeaks. And Dora...I can't figure out how this little girl wanders around everywhere without her parents caring. Ha ha.

This is for those who have little ones. What program do they watch that you love too? I like the Wiggles. I watch it whenever I can and my kid has oodles of Wiggles merchandise.

I want to start reading to my fourteen month old daughter so that she will be very smart. I have bought toddler books and a leap-pad. When I try to sit down and read to her she lets me hold her for about two minutes and then she's getting back down to play. Any suggestions on what I can do to hold her attention long enough to read to her.

She is very independant. At the grocery store she pitches a fit if I put her in the buggy, so I try to let her walk with me and her 2 older sisters (4 yrs and 6yrs) but I turned around for 10sec. to give coupons to the cashier and she was gone. She walked off to the game area at Wal-Mart, but I couldn't find her for a few minutes. This isn't the first time I've had a heart attack(exaggerating of course) over her disappearing. I hate myself when this happens. Please help me find a better way to keep my health and my baby near me.

My 3 yr old is lying telling her Grandma that she was spanked hard by me and then turning around and telling me her Grandma spanked her and made her butt hurt. Right now it's ok because it's family but what if it is a Dr. or school teacher? I do not beat my kid, she very rarely gets more than a time out, someone please Help! I don't know how to get her to stop because she doesn't realize the whole picture where she can be hurt or someone else will be. Any parents or people experienced with kids, please give me some advice.

My elder girl is about 3yrs and she does not like to intact with other. Example: If she saw other kids playing in the playground, she will rather chose to go than joining the fun. Any suggestions? I even enrolled her to pre-schools and the teachers even told me she prefer to be alone than playing with others
