I think for me it is a toss up between Elmo's world and Blues Clues, with Dora following close behind. I can't stand Elmo's voice and Blue's little squeaks. And Dora...I can't figure out how this little girl wanders around everywhere without her parents caring. Ha ha.

Wow, you guys are right about Barney and Teletubbies and the Wiggles. I guess I forgot about them since they're banned in my house.

I don't know if they have this show everywhere or only in Canada, but for me the most annoying kids show is "Caillou".
It's a cartoon show about a 4 year old boy named Caillou and he is the whiniest kid you will ever hear! Plus, he's bald!!! How many 4 year olds do you know that have never grown a strand of hair on their heads?!
If they only show this in Canada, be thankful if you have never seen it because kids love it but every parent I have talked to hates it.

By far, OOBIE!!!! So annoying and they don't even speak right! What are we teaching our children???
I'll take the Wiggles, DoodleBops, Barney, Dora, etc anyday over a show that teaches our kids to speak incorrectly and is just not very imaginative. That goes for teletubbies and BooBah as well. How did they come up with a pile of neon colored poop, dancing and farting? What drugs do they take to come up with that stuff????

Barney, of course. I once saw an article on Reuters web site saying that the US army would use the theme song of Barney (the I love you. You love me song) to get the prioners to spilt out the secrets that they want to know about. According to that article, the US army would play the Barney song whole day non-stop in the prisoners' cells. Every so many days, the US army would interrogate these prisoners for the information that they want to know.
Imagine that, if the Barney were such a funny show, why would anyone in their right mind think of using the Barney song in such manner? So, the answer, of course, is Barney, hands down.

I hate the teletubbies, my daughter loves them, but, they don't even talk!!! The purple male carries a red purse. An actual purse! THey talk like babies. How is someone supposed to learn how to talk if her role models don't. I like Dora. My daughter already speaks spanish but with Dora she has learned a lot more. Ya, it is a little unrealilistic about her walking all over the place alone but atleast the show implies that she is doing good and helping little animals and her friends.

Elmo for me...but Barney takes the cake!!!
i like Blue Clues because it makes kids think. Wiggles grow on you, they are crazy but very very very rich. they are doing something right!
Dora is education but her voice gets to you. my daughter LOVES it.

Doodlebops, my son says "They freak me out", Boo Bahs, Teletubbies even though his first words were from the show, Wiggles, Elmo's World.

You're just spoiled because you don't have cable and can control what your child watches (VCR tapes and DVDs).
I have to put in my vote for Teletubbies and Boohbah. Both scare my 3 1/2 year old son. He's also scared of Lazy Town.
