My daughter is 2 years old. She doesnt want to wear a diaper only when she needs to go potty. I put her on her potty and she sits for a minute and wants off. She seems to be showing the signs she is ready but do you have any good tips for me?

My daughter will be 2 in August. She weighs 24 pounds and is very healthy, Never has even had a cold. She snacks a little thru the day but goes days with only wanting organic milk. I give her food supplements so she is getting essential vitamins and nutrients but only really wants milk. Anyone in the same boat or knows how to help a picky eater?. It drives me crazy and i offer her so many choices.

How much should I play with my 16 month old? How much should he play by himself? I am a stay at home mom and I have alot of stuff to get done (i.e. online college, housework, taking care of him and getting lots of other stuff done...). I'm the only one home 99% of the time so I'm pretty much the only one he plays with. My son always seems like he's hanging off of my leg everywhere I go or he's fussing and wanting me to pick him up. Am I not paying enough attention to him or is he spoiled??

Isn't it child abuse? At what age would it be appropriate to call Child Protective Services?
My husband told me that a guy he works with has an 18-month old and they started washing his mouth out with soap when he backtalks. Now I am so mad and I want my husband to do something about it, because at that age I think that it's just wrong. Maybe I should do something about it.

Hes been good for over a year, going to the toiilet regulary etc. But recently he has began to wet himself again. This morning he pooed himself, i so dont know what to do as i do not want to put him back in pull-ups. I cant quite understand why he has taken a step back with this sort of thing, we ask him regularly and he has easy access to the toilet, so why is it beginning to become a problem again. The problem started in school, where he would be coming home in the school taxis wet, i addressed the school, even with sending spares, just in case. They say hes not getting bullied and there has been no dramatic change to the lifestyle he has at school at home, so what is going wrong?

I need to have proof of his past before we go to court next month. He is trying to get custody of my 2yr. daughter. I recently found out he had a past that may involve drugs and since we split he has started to turn to durgs once more. I scares me to think what he is capable of but i want to have the information, if i need it. If you're at the park or driving or whatever with a boy who has to go pee, it seems like the attitude is "the world is your toilet." Even in the backyard and so on.

For girls, is it the same kind of thing? Like, would you let your daughter go near the fence or beside the car, or do you ask her to be more "dainty"?
