First, Pediasure is a really great thing! It will give her some of the vitamins and minerals, as well as fiber that she's missing. Does she like fruit? Raisins have a great deal of fiber and are good snacks as do most dried fruits. If you can get her to eat apples with peanut butter for a snack, this will give her protein, fiber and vitamins. Perhaps smaller snacky type meals through the day will make it easier for her as well.

Has she been checked by a pediatrician? You didn't give her age but there was a time when my nephews just wouldn't eat ANYTHING good for them and chocolate or strawberry Pediasure kept them alive! Does she like cheese? Douse those vegetables in cheese, it can help.

Cereals like oatmeal and any other grains will help too. This may just be a phase. If she will eat fruit, offer that as a substitute for vegetables for now. It might work. My nephew lived on Pediasure and french fries for two years and he's pretty healthy now! We slowly started introducing veggies with lots of cheese and he began to actually eat them, missed the green underneath all that orange I guess! I definately DO NOT suggest forcing the issue, don't make her sit until she finishes her vegetables, this leads to horrible eating problems later. Also, juices that are 100% fruit juice will help her get her servings in as well. Relax, Mom, she'll grow out of it. Find the fibrous fruits, grains and cereals she will eat and you will both feel better.

you can give her a fiber supplement, they make the kind that dissolves in liquid and you can't taste at all.
also if she doesn't eat enough food maybe you could try giving her "boost" it is like a diet shake only it provdes all your nutrients and has a lot of good calories. try freezing it and telling her it is ice cream maybe even add some toppings just so she will eat it.

i have a very skinny daughter also she is 21 and only weighs 93lbs. she always like veggies and fruit but she never really liked meat, she was also lactose intollerant so she didn't get the protein that her body needed we had to supplement her diet.

our doctor told usto be careful not to force foods on her or she will develop very bad eating habits so we never did now she eats constantly. good luck .

I have the same problem with my 2 yr. old. Her dr. recommended multi-vitamins. I give her one a day and hide all the junk food and limit the snacks, then she is hungry and eats much better. She loves her junk!! So the first few days she cried quite a bit but she realizes now that if she doesn't eat, she doesn't get a popcycle. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Kids go through stages and this is probably a stage. She'll eat when she's hungry.

You can try Carnation Instant breakfast and add some dry milk to it to help get extra calcium, that may help with putting on weight. Her not eating much try offering her smaller meals and let her eat when she is hungry if you try to force her to eat she may never want to. The veggies I would just give her little amounts and try them in different ways. You can always give her things like broccile, califlower, carrots and such cold and with dips. As for her stools there is Senacote for kids you add it to milk so it is kinda like chocolate milk I used that for my son but I added it to his chocolate milk because it made it taste better. Hope it works.

Do not offer him sweets of any kind.If he wants a reward he will have to eat the good stuff first....if he will not then dont give in...Provide only good foods and do not give him a choice.Kids are picky, some of them, and if given choices...they will chose junk.I wont buy it and when they want a snack...FRUIT!
