Pretty much. My little boy was always up with the sun and ready to roll... except when he started to school... then it wasn't so easy!

Good luck and sweet dreams!

Yes, you gave that up when you conceived!!! LOL

I have 5, but my youngest 2 are completely different, the 2 year old is a night-owl, and the baby is an early-riser, so I get about 3-4 hours sleep a night. Of course, I know this will change and I grab a nap whenever I get a chance!! I am lucky that both babies can be convinced to have one at the same time in the afternoon (usually).

I gave up sleeping in when I had kids, I think the latest I was able to sleep in with the first one was seven o'clock and now that I have the second one I am awake at six and if I am lucky enough to get a little shut eye before the other one wakes up then cool beans for me, other than that when they go to bed I am not to far behind them to make sure I get enough rest as well.

My boys like to get up at the crack of dawn, my girls sleep in. When they're older, they'll learn to take care of themselves and let you sleep in a little bit. My 13 yr old will give my 4 yr old cereal on a saturday morning and let me sleep in an extra hour or so. Thank God for good children who love their mother!

It depends on your definition of late. Before kids I would get to sleep late-12 noon some weekends. After kids I still get to sleep late 8 am on weekends.

Yes, sleeping late is a done deal for you until your kids get old enough to care for themselves safely for a few hours. It is coming though, once they can figure out how to get cereal and milk out and will sit and watch cartoons for awhile without fighting you can grab an extra hour of sleep.

Until then: sun up = kids up.

Yup. But sometimes my husband let's me sleep in on Saturdays. Its heaven!
Wanna know something really scary? I never was a morning person, but I'm finally turning into one. I have started waking up when my kids do, without the alarm clock. Its just such a habit now, that it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. But it took years to change my sleeping habits!

yes absolutely! I have forgotten what it's like to have a lie-in! I have found the best way is to wear the little terrors out as much as possible and get them out in the fresh air and then you might find they sleep in a little later. Either that or you wait until they are teenagers and then you struggle to get them out of bed before lunchtime!

sleeping late, sleeping through the night, going to the restroom on your own, and getting through a meal without having to get up is pretty much over!!!

You should sleep as little as possible in order to greet the day and start teaching your children where exactly in the Bible it tells you to meddle in the lives of gay people.
Have a pleasant day.
